"Meet Puffer, He is a puffer fish living in a big big ocean. There are many predators that lurk in the murky waters of the deep. Help him puff up, and avoid being eaten."
A word from Argus Computer Entertainment. It has been over a year in the making and we decided to release the game to all of you here. This game has taken everyone in Argus to get this far and is why we need all of you to help this project continue further. We hope by releasing it beta we can get the crucial feed back we need and to better improve our skills in making games.
We will host a Kickstarter soon and wish for all of you to enjoy our new game. Puffer.
Okay, so I played with a mouse. Technically the game was running fine and I can see that the concept could be fleshed out for a bigger game.
- There is very little visual feedback on most things. I don't know what Puffer's HP status is at any time apart from full or deflated. -I think the predator would benefit from some visual cue right before it decides to charge, like a little cat like wobbling, glowing, and/or audio cue. -It said wait to strike, but I couldn't figure out where and when to strike. I tried attacking the glow ball part, but if it caused any damage, I couldn't see it. I found trying to attack really unwieldy with the current controls, given the mobility of the predator and being unable to see when it would charge. - Puffer always swims well past my point of click. -The predator when swimming in from off-screen would often directly swim into my puffer, unable to avoid it.
Sorry if it sounds too negative, but I hope these were helpful, I know it's only a beta right now.

I thank you for getting back in touch with me. I do apologize for not a quicker response, but after the recent tragedy here in France, things have hit too close to home.
I appreciate taking your time to play the game and all feed back is welcome as it gives us an idea of how the player sees the game. Which is refreshing given only our perspective.
The game will constantly shift from Alpha to Beta and back again. We been looking over all the feed back and decided not only to tweak a few things but flesh out a few others. We hope to have a new update soon with many new features. I hope you keep tuned in, and thank you for your support.

I'm thankfully doing alright. Just with family now staying with them after all the events. I hope to continue to work on the game along side my team though there will be a few delays in getting the next major build up for everyone. I hope you stay tuned and have a happy holiday.
