Many individuals with special needs have found a hero in Snowdrop. Meredith Sims and the rest of SFS did not intend to have made such a profound impact on the special needs community through this work. However, they did.
There was a young lady at the convention who dressed as Snowdrop. Her name was Marisa and Matthew deeply regrets having not been able to spend the time he would've liked to with her. He really wanted her to meet Meredith, but was unable to get to Meredith before Marisa had to leave. So if anyone knows how Matthew can get in touch with Marisa / the young lady who dressed as Snowdrop at BronyCon 2015, please let us know.
When Matthew did meet Meredith, the two discussed how SFS is now in the process of developing a show pilot to present to various studios.
Meredith also noted how a Descriptive Audio version of Snowdrop[/i] is still in the works. The timeline for its arrival is unknown, but we'll let you know when it is released.
Meredith Sims and the whole team at SFS are a wonderful example to us all who aspire to leave a mark on the world through our creativity. It has taken years of time, effort, and sacrifice to get to where they are now. However, all that effort is paying off with the potential to, one day, have their studio making animations for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and others.
We can't all be Silly Fillies, but we can continually push ourselves to overcome whatever life throws at us to show our creative spirit will never be quashed.
