Slave Dancer Edwin
Jock-Strapped
"Can I Get a Hallelujah!"
Leutnant Spoetzl
These particular Imperial soldiers, alternately referred to as Death Star Troopers or Navy Troopers, don't get much love, but I always did like their insanely gigantic helmets. And it takes a true Star Wars nerd like Edwin to cosplay as one.

First one to make a Dark Helmet joke gets in serious trouble!

These guys *were* in operational charge of things, weren't they?

They were either guards or console jockeys.

Exactly. They were in charge of things like firing Death Stars, guarding prison blocks, and shuttle traffic control.
Addendum: General Whats-his-face who lands the force on Hoth is also one of this branch.

General Veers, and, no, his helmet was different. He wore a bluish-gray version of a Snowtrooper helmet without the face mask. Navy troopers' helmets were larger and more flared out from the back of the head.

There is no need to apologize for correcting my own bad memory. I'd sooner be corrected that stay wrong. And of-course you're right, so it's doubly okay.
