Chapter 1

Blue Hole

by the kzx

“I’ll have a cherry Dr. Phibber, please.” the dingo girl said, slightly embarrassed. The waiter wrote down something and before he left, gave Izzy a look that seemed to say ‘So sorry a pretty girl like you has to deal with that.’ She returned a look that seemed to say ‘It’s fine; I’m used to it.’
“That guy is stupid.” Tay said, just as the waiter left.
“Tay, YOU’RE the one who tried to pull a booth out!” Izzy said. Tay gave her an angry look. She knew that look; it'll pass after about a minute. Izzy picked up the menu sitting before her, beginning to open it.
        "Izzy, wait!" Tay shouted.
"What, Tay?" Izzy said, lowering the menu.
"What if the prices are high? What if we can't afford anything?"
"Tay, we're fine. We can afford this place." Izzy said, opening the menu. These prices were high indeed, but very affordable with the money they had. Izzy decided on a Bar-B-Q chicken dish that sounded delicious, and the picture helped! Izzy smiled thinking about it. She noticed Tay staring at his menu in vast confusion.
"Need help?" She asked her brother.
        "No... I..."
"Just order a burger; you always do."
"But this time I might order a..." Tay paused, mouth wide open. Izzy watched his eyes dart around, the only thing he had moving. He might actually say something, Izzy thought. He's so cute. "...a burger..." Tay finally said. Ahh, so that's settled. Suddenly, she heard a loud long gasp. "Actually, I'm gonna get a Blue Hole!" Tay said, sending Izzy's eyes darting around the menu. "It's got coconut, pineapple, blue cure caca..."
"Tay, that's a grown-up drink." Izzy said, finding it on the back of the menu where the alcoholic drinks were.
"I don't care how old it is! I like fruit!" Tay yelled. Izzy sighed.
"Taylor, please don't be dumb tonight." She said. Tay looked seriously at her.
        "That's my full name."
        "It's only your first name."
"I know what my name is!"
"Tay, this is a special night! Please don't be dumb!"
        "I wanna Blue Hole!"
"GET A BURGER!" Izzy shouted. A few stares were felt all around. It wasn't a quiet restaurant, but still, no one was yelling. Tay looked bothered finally, sinking into his shoulders.
"Ssssorry, Iz... I'll get a burger..." he said softly. Izzy tried her best to calm down. 9 years of Tay was not enough to get used to him sometimes.
The waiter approached the table with the appropriate drinks, placing them on the table.
"Ready to order?" He asked. Izzy began to nod and the waiter pulled out his order pad.
"Hey! Ladies first!" Tay shouted. The waiter stopped and looked blankly at Tay.
"I'm sorry? I was going to ask her first anyway." He said, unsure of where this boy was going on this crazy train of logic.
"Blue Burger!" Tay shouted, almost standing up in the seat. Izzy was mad and embarrassed. 'Why's he gotta be this way...' she thought. The waiter wasn't any better off in his wallow of confusion.
"...I'm sorry?" The waiter said. Tay, noticing his sister’s discontent, sat back down and straightened his back, speaking in a proper gentlemanly tone.
"The lady will have a blue burger-"
        "There are no 'blue burgers!'"
"The lady will have a regular burger-"
        "I don't want a burger at all!"
        "She'll have a Blue Hol-"
"I don't want that, either!" Izzy shouted, softly kicking Tay's leg. He looked at her and saw she had a pleading expression on her face. He cleared his throat and looked down.
"Izzy, you order first..." Tay said somberly, like he just did something bad.
"Thank you." Izzy said, turning to the waiting waiter, "I'll have the Bar-B-Q chicken with side salad and steamed vegetables, please." She said, handing in her menu.
        "And you, sir?"
"I'll have the Big Steak Roadhouse Burger, plain and dry, please."
        "And what sides?"
        "Huh?"
"What kind of sides would you want?" The waiter asked. Tay looked up at him incredulously.
"The regular sides, just don't burn them!" Tay said, impatiently. The waiter gave the dingo boy a look of confusion.
"What? Sir, what side dishes would you prefer?" He said, pointing his pen at the sides portion of the menu. Tay looked down at them.
"I'd like a long one and a wide-"
"Taylor!" Izzy barked. She turned to the waiter. "He'll have steak fries and mashed potatoes, please, thanks." Tay's ears perked up and he smiled.
"Hey, I love mashed potatoes!" He said. Izzy rolled her eyes. The waiter gathered the menus.
"Okay, we'll have that right out for you." The waiter said, giving Izzy another look of sympathy and walking away.
"Thank you!" Izzy said. There was a long bout of silence between the twins, Tay sipping and checking out the decor, Izzy trying to remain calm.
"That waiter is stupid." Tay said, straw in his mouth.
"You're stupid!" Izzy started, "Stop trying to ruin this romantic night!"
"I'm sorry, Iz. Please don't be mad. I keep kinda forgetting that we're not just out at dinner as brother and sister..." Tay said pleadingly. Izzy smirked, drinking.
"I keep forgetting, too..." she said, feeling a bit better.
"Remember, you didn't wanna be together at first."
"I WANTED to be together with you, Tay! I REALLY did! It was just so weird and it took me a little while to get used to what my heart wanted." Izzy said.
"It's cus I kissed you." Tay said smugly. Izzy felt a little shock; that's... that's not what happened... was it..?
"It is not! I..." Izzy became embarrassed again.
"It is! It is! That's when you finally let go and said you loved me! I have a magic touch with girls I think!" Tay said. Izzy looked at him skeptically.
"That's not it, Tay..." she said, holding his paw on the table, " I've just always loved you, I guess..." The twins smiled at each other, holding paws. Silence and smiles. Tay yawned.
        "Eeaahh...." he yawned again.
"Weird we've been awake since Australia." Izzy said. Tay's ears perked up.
"'Oh, wow, we have, huh?'" He asked. "Well... we did sleep on the plane ride up here..."
"Yeah, that's true. Still... these trips from Sydney to America gives us reeeeeally long days; it's still January 15th!" Izzy marveled.
"No wonder I'm so tired..." Tay yawned again. Izzy giggled.
"Well, don't get TOO tired." She blushed. They had big plans for later that night, when they got home, all alone...
Continuing to sip away at their drinks, the twins stared into each other’s eyes, smiling. Tay drew in a long breath and sighed.
        "I'm bored." He said.
"'Bored?!'" Izzy yelled, "We're on a date! Every moment is special, not boring!"
        "There's nothin' ta do!"
"Aren't you in love with me?" Izzy said. Tay nodded quietly. "How can you be bored being out on a date with me?" Izzy asked. Tay's face seemed to indicate a steadfast opinion at first, but soon melted down into an expression of realization.
"Oh... sorry, Iz. I didn't think of it that way." Tay said, throwing his sister into confusion.
"What... what way were you thinking of it?" Izzy asked. Tay just shrugged and took a sip. 'I have to stay calm, don't get mad. Tay is just being Tay. He's still my Tay. Can't be a bad girlfriend, can't be a bad girlfriend.' the little dingo girl thought. Izzy looked at her partner. She admired his eyes, though strongly matching her own. She also admired Tay's hair, his ears, his smile... Suddenly, those eyes were on Izzy.
"What's some stuff grown-ups talk about at dinner?" Tay asked, grabbing a delicious looking dinner roll. Dinner rolls! Izzy had been so busy with Tay’s antics, she forgot they were even in the table! She looked down at the basket Tay pulled his from; 3 buttery rolls glistened in the country light alongside two mini cups of butter.
"I dunno... talk about the weather?" Izzy suggested, taking a roll and opening it, putting the butter into the hot, steamy center. Tay's eyes looked around, mouth half open.
"It's cold!" He said. Izzy giggled. 'He's not always so bad, she thought, 'I love him, always have, and his ways, no matter how annoying, have a weird charm to them.' She bit into the roll; delicious! It was a sweet, buttery taste with a surprise cinnamon twist. She looked down, grabbing one of the butter cups and sniffed it; cinnamon butter! Izzy smiled, holding her roll out toward her brother.
        "These are delicious!" She said.
"Yeah!" Tay said, biting his again. Izzy noticed he didn't add cinnamon butter to his.
"And with the cinnamon butter, they're even better!" She hinted. Tay eyed the cups.
"'Cinnamon butter?' I don't trust it..." he said, sour face toward the concoction. Izzy finished her roll.
"It's just cinnamon butter." she said.
        "Its gross!" He said.
"It's delicious!" Izzy said, grabbing her second.
"It's unnatural!" Tay shouted, nearly barking at the butter.
"Calm down,  Tay. It's not gonna get ya." Izzy said.
"It's goin' into my sister!" Tay barked. Izzy got quiet, whispering.
"tay, you've been going into m- wait..." Izzy stopped, giving her brother a good look. "...are you jealous of the cinnamon butter?" She asked, full voice. Tay crossed his arms and slouched back.
"...no..." he said, pouty. Izzy laughed.
"Fine thing to be jealous of." Izzy giggled more, finishing her roll. So good! Tay was so good. Which was more delicious? She blushed. "Try to not be so jealous in public, okay, bro?" She said, drinking. "There might still be people around here that we know."
"So, what do we do if we run into people we know?" Tay asked. Izzy thought about it. What WOULD they do if they met people they knew?
"It's not like they can TELL we're a couple; we're twins, always out together and being close. Shouldn't be a problem if we keep it under wraps." Izzy explained, lifting her foot to Tay's shin under the table and leaning forward. "and we ARE keeping it under wraps..." Izzy whispered, lifting her leg up Tay's shin and poked at his kneecap, "...right??" Tay's expression changed subtly to one of confused disgust. He leaned in as if to say something, but Izzy felt charmed nonetheless. Tay's mouth opened.
"i think there's an infestation at this restaurant." it whispered, throwing off Izzy’s mood for one of confusion as well.
        "...what?!" She asked harshly.
"shhhh! you'll scare it away!" Tay hushed.
"what the heck are you talking about?!" Izzy asked.
"there is a bug or something here!" Tay said, bottom eyelids raised. Izzy cringed a little, body freezing up.
"what?! eww! this is a restaurant!" She said, sinking between her shoulders.
"yeah, a restaurant with a bad review when i leave here!" Tay said, slyly eyeing another part of the room.
"w-where is the bug or whatever?" Izzy asked, eyes darting around. Tay sat up, eyes locked on his girlfriend.
"don't worry; i'll handle it..." he said. The two sat in silence for a little bit. Izzy was frozen. She didn't want to move. A bug?! Not tonight! Not on our date! Tay looked down and raised his paw. Omg! The bug is just below him! Gross! Tay slammed his fist down hard under the table, striking Izzy’s foot which was still pressed up against her brother’s knee. "GOTCHA, YA CHEEKY LITTLE SHITE!" Tay cried.
"OW, TAY! MY FOOT! " the girl cried, withdrawing her foot and rubbing it.
        "There it goes!"
"Where?! Was it on my foot?!" Tay looked up at his sister.
"It went toward you, sis." Tay said in monotone. Izzy nearly jumped.
"WHAT?! WHAT'S IT LOOK LIKE?!" she cried.
"It's all black and pink! Touched me in the leg! How rude!" Tay said, leaning back for a glance under the table. All at once, Izzy’s panic turned to rage.
"'Black and pink?'" Izzy asked, significantly more calm. Tay nodded without looking up.
        "Yeah, it was gross!"
"'A bug or something?!' Tay, that was MY shoe!" Izzy said, scowling. Tay looked at Izzy with a blank face.
"You got bug shoes?" He asked, to which Izzy just shot him an impatient expression, shaking her head 'no.'

So, I couldn't help myself. As I wanted book 3 to have 11 chapters, there were some scenes I wanted to see, but was too eager to get to the sex scenes, so some stuff was kinda skimmed over.

This is part one of the dinner. It takes place after chapter 3.

can't wait for the next volume but good thing i have all the other stories that i haven't read yet to finally catch up on. I wonder what you can find in the unexpecttraction lost archives (AKA your computer's hard drive)

Tay is lucky Izzy did not get up and walked out on his ass with such behavior. Being 9 years old is one thing, but Tay is acting like a 2 year old in a shitty diaper!

Tay does not behave well in public.

Imagine being his parents.

I raised 6 girls, 3 who were mine biologically, 3 because my cousins would not do the right thing by them, and another 45,000 in a 30 year career teaching science and computer technology to other people's brats. Kids learn fast not to cross my line, though I seen teachers lose it on the first day of school (F'ing LMAO!)...

"Did his eyes just glowed when he growled at me?"

"Yes they did, and if you don't want your head to explode like in some freak show movie, you better SIT DOWN AND BEHAVE!!!"

{Thank god I'm retired!}

Oh wow, so you've had kids before... what're my stories, like Unexpecttraction, like to you as a parent? It's a perspective I've been interested in hearing from someone who isn't violently anti-child sexuality

As a single dad (well, had help from grandma before she died; long story), I ran an open house for them. A lot of freedom, a lot of strange things happening but what the hell. Now they're grown up and made daddy proud that they are successful adults who contribute to society positively with no sexual hang ups. I find it no problem about child sexuality, because if there it is not talked about and dealt with at home, they will get it anyway they can on the streets and doing that will get them in trouble for it (teen pregnancies, VD, etc...).

Poor Izzy. I can see bits here and there where Taylor is trying to be good but i think he needs to either try harder or he's trying too hard. dang now i'm confused -_-
