Sonic Team: Agreed but SEGA? Common they don't give any damn about their developers and customers, they need to die. No Offense but pity those who are the real victims and not those who have money signs in their eyes and try to make a fool out of you

SEGA has had more than it's fair share of blunders - but they care more than Capcom apparently does. Megaman hasn't had a game that has been release in almost a decade - and the one game that almost hit the spotlight got cancelled on the grounds that there was "Not a lot of support from the fans". SEGA does screw up and comes off as a money-hungry company - but thats EVERY company on this planet. Money is what makes SEGA live. Money is what made Sonic Team exist. Money is why Sonic the hedgehog exists PERIOD. And SEGA has dissed a lot of developers who have been good to them, but at least they never resort to pointing fingers at the fans for their troubles. If SEGA ever approaches a stable fiscal point again, I'm certain there will be a lot less tension in the company. For now, I just want to believe everything will be okay and hope for the best. SEGA needs to sell sell sell, but they also need to take their time and not rush everything.

I mostly agree to you, but the argument "everyone does it so it's ok right?" doesn't work for me and yeah most publishers nowadays are money grabbing bastards, but unlike EA or Ubisoft etc. SEGA hasn't the financial strenght to endure low sellings and I am sorry I have absolutely no compassion for then at this point, yes a Company needs to make profit but the time was showing us that they make less sells with the current way they are going, changing the Sonic Franchise up with every Game, Sonic Generations had very solid sells almost 3 Million I guess, bette dor change everything and make Sonic Lost World which had only 0,75 Million sells and instead of building up on the potential Lost world had they decided to let Sonic Boom happen which has even half as much sells as Lost World + The Boom Game was again rushed too the market, I mean it's not only Sonic, they screwed up games series Like total War, Aliens, Golde Axe.

The Reality shows us that time and effort makes a Game Great and that a Great Game generates alot of sales, that's why Nintendo remains (not the strongest) strong in the current generation, they change up little to nothing, making they're Games more pure, they don't release broken unfinished Games and Patch it days later, they are not lying dicks about their productsthey don't promise things they won't give to the fans.

And most of all: Sonic Dash, I am sorry any company making a mobile Freemium Game is not better than EA in my eyes.

SEGA needs to die, they need to release all this wonderful franchises, Sonic, Golden Axe, Total War, Streets of Rage and give it to the hands of people who don't rush they're developers and don't force them to team up with other teams a publisher who don't set up releasing dates to publish an unfinished game just to generate quick sales which in the end are coming out to be less as when they would have gave them more times, SEGA were doing awful marketing choices even back then in the 90s and you could literally watch they're decay from back then, droppping from the console market, not dropping from the physical software market.

Sonic Team would be better off without SEGA, someone elese who put love and patience in this franchise should have a shot on it, it is very very sad that all the Fangames lately are much more enjoyable as as the last few offcial Sonic Games.

It's less inspirational and more eerie to me.
Which totally delivers it home in my opinion.

Sega was always the company that was willing to take risks on new technology and new ideas, something that is never really done from a major developer, especially not nowadays. All the other companies just watched what Sega did, waited a while to see what caught on, and then copied them and released their own 'new and improved' versions.

Since Sega went multiplatform, there has been little to no real innovation in the big developers, and why should they risk it? All it takes is one major failure to potentially ruin any game developer. They all just rehash and remake everything because they know it's what we want. We want to play the same things over and over again because it's familiar and comfortable. How many times do we need to buy a Pokémon game before we realize that they're all the same? Heck, Blizzard is just now getting around to launching their first new IP in 17 years! When was the last time Valve released a new franchise? Why make a great game when good sells better?
