6 is my favorite RPG, actually....B-...And I'm going to NOT ramble on, and get to my state mandated reference. I think you mean CYAN,LOCKE, CELES, and SETZER! Them yelling each others names amuses me. I'm easy to amuse. Hence....I would make a joke at your expense, but I think I'll just jump on the App Store and shell out 15 bucks to buy this game. Again.

You continue to knock these out of the park, boss. Between the outfits, Chay's indignity at me making off with Serge, and that voluminous skunkbutt, I am torn to pick what I like best. Thanks a bunch!

So, back when I was younger and still living in South Florida with my mom and my younger brother (as opposed to now when I'm living further south in Florida and living only with my mom), my younger brother would occasionally come up with what was basically a live-action role-play, but always in the style of games like Final Fantasy, and often times, I'd get recruited into playing as one (or more) characters, while my younger brother (or one of his friends) would be the GM as well as everything we encountered that was either an NPC or an opponent (in a few cases, one became the other).
So, back when I was around 20-21, my younger brother (with Final Fantasy III/VI still fresh in his mind) decided he wanted to start up another one, along those same veins. Seeing as I kinda lived with him, I was the first person recruited to play a character, and I made one that was effectively a different SETZER; his name was Ookami, and I went all out in designing this character (despite the fact that I played Final Fantasy II/IV once for my younger brother to try and get him past a boss encounter and didn't like how the game played at all). I went so far as to actually do my homework and research the Japanese kanji/katakana for 100 different words and created a list. Those were Ookami's "cards", and every round he got initiative, he could "draw a card" rather than attack. When Ookami drew a card, I actually rolled 1d% to see which one Ookami drew; with one exception, every time Ookami drew a card, it literally was the best card for the situation at hand.
At one point, Ookami was tossed into some gladiatorial combat with a man wielding a shotgun; Ookami had his cards and a dagger. Also, the opponent had armor that was good enough to make my strikes with the dagger just about pointless, and Ookami still didn't have armor. Ookami was starting to lose really badly, so at one point, I decided it was time to "draw a card". I drew the "restore" card (I think that was it); my status was saved at that point and I had three turns before I would be automatically reverted back to the point in which I drew that card. The next turn, my opponent critically hit me with that shotgun for 9999 damage (Ookami was something like level 2 at this point); Ookami fell, and the gladiator started receiving praise and getting showered with roses and adoration.
Two more turns, and suddenly, there was a perfectly healthy Ookami tapping him on the shoulder before shoving a dagger in his face. X3

Indeed. The funny thing was, in a couple of instances, Ookami drew something that was intended to be defensive only, but my brother randomly added an attack attribute just because it fit so well for the situation at hand. Once I found the rest of the party, the group ended up in a heated battle with a Crab Mech (think Final Fantasy VII), and Ookami "drew a card" and got "tower". The intended effect was supposed to be that Ookami could not take damage for four turns (but couldn't act, either), but my brother ruled that, instead, Ookami became an unstoppable Earth Golem for those four turns and could just punch the Crab Mech for insane amounts of damage.
