As others have already observed, if The Expendables franchise is all about long-faded stars getting some new limelight, then A-Ko and B-ko should be present, The Dirty Pair should be seen, as should Hoquet et Rose and Yellow Belmont (just for fun). having Sailor Mars is legit, but the rest of these ladies-- so wonderfully rendered by Out Host by the way-- are still to young to feature in such a "olds folks' home" as the Expendables. And who whould the grand-dame leader of these old school stars be? Who else but the ever beautiful and ever formidable Fujiko Mine?

I agree Ryuko is way too young to be an expendable cast member, she not even old enough to be the best actor yet they should probably put Ryoko from the Tenchi series, Sakura from card captors, Lina Inverse from Slayers, Sasami from tenchi, Sailor Chibi moon, Angol Moa from Keroro Gunsou, Kagome from Inuyasha, or Lum form Urusei Yatsura.

Now you're getting the idea of the whole Expendables shtick: old fan faves that haven't really had new product in many years. But we have to go back DECADES for the stars to qualify. Toph might be a deserved fan favorite, but her show isn't even a quarter as old as what would qualify for this list. And Ryuko from Kill La Kill representing? That show just wrapped last year!

No. Just no. Much as I like the girls here, I think Toph is far more badass WITHOUT a gun than with, what with earth and metalbending. Same with Nanoha's Raising Heart. Hell, Nanoha puts Gundams to shame with the attacks she can do. unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with the rest of them. I know Asuka Langley and Rei by pop culture osmosis, but that's it.
