I am pantheistic by definition, but I pull a LOT of my personal "practices/beliefs/fantasies" from Dharmatic and Taoic faiths, so this symbol is in part how I pay homage to that aspect. That being said, obviously not everything is necessarily exactly as it would be in the original religions that each symbol is derived from.
the "elements" I have listed in Kanji are more for show than anything else, I attribute them (and their corresponding colors) to the seven chakras. Now I know there are 8 colors represented, this is because I am considering "Grey" to be split amongst Black and White as Health/Vitality/Augmentation/etc and Disease/Poison/Ailmentation/etc in pseudo-homage to the yin-yang, whereas pure Grey would be the Chakra of Life/Spirit/etc. That is the only reason I didn't place Darkness as Black or Light as White (even though visually it would make more sense!).
-Kanji- White=Health Blue=Water Green=Wind Yellow=Light (Also, consider this equivalent to electricity) Black=Poison Orange=Earth Red=Fire Purple=Darkness
----------------------------------------- Unrelated, I am not necessarily counting this as "today's submission" due to it only being an aspect of what I am working on currently. That being said, I missed yesterday's submission (as well as one earlier this week). I missed yesterdays as a result of trying to get my monitor issues resolved (I was using a TV as a monitor for almost a year, loved it, but a problem showed up and I had to get it "fixed/exchanged" well, nothing seems to have been working for me so I just got my money back and am now back to using my old monitor. Yeah... Lotsa fun... Anyway, count this drawing as part of my owed "backlog" of submissions if you want, I don't really think I will be doing "extra" drawings for days I miss unless I miss a whole lot. But that doesn't mean small stuff like this won't occasionally show up.
