Ff13 Lightning Returns moogle accessories

Commissioned request of moogle staff, shield, hat and attachable wings for a Lightning custom pony commissioned.

Craft details:
Shield is cut from authentic white leather. Sketched out the moogle face on wax paper, then pinned it to the leather then cut it out. Painted the black eye slants and inner-ears in acrylic paints, pom-pom is a plastic purple bead fastened to the back.
Laid down a layer of mod podge on the back of the shield then bent it slightly to give it shape.

Staff- took a wooden dowel and painted it in pthalo blue and metallic blue acrylics.
Smashed a junk watch and salvaged the clock face for the head of the staff. Fastened it to another golden piece of jewelry of which I removed the original pearls from via pliers. Fastened another purple plastic bead at the top. Wired the head of the staff to the painted dowel, then secured everything in more paint and mod podge.

Detachable wings- are crafted so that they will be attachable a full custom pony of Lightning, in her full Knight of Etro armor.
Took some thick gold wire, and glued purple leather around it. Clamped the materials together with chip clips while the glue dried.
Painted in wings in layers of purples and gold acrylics, sealed all of it in Artists Varnish.

Moogle hat accessory- in ff13 Lightning Returns, you can obtain a moogle hat of a plush moogle that simply rests atop of Lightning’s head.
Drew out a general pelt-shape patter on wax paper, pinned it to white leather and cut it out.
Crafted in similar fashion to how I’ve done previous leather plushie commissions.
Took leather puncher and punched holes along the legs and stitched the sides together to give them shape. Took a large white heavy oblong-shaped bead, and wired it to the neck.
Drew out a pattern for the head, punched holes along the neck and back of head seams for stitching, and stitched the thing around the bead and onto the neck.
Anchored another plastic purple bead for the mog pom pom.
Painted black eye slants.
Both shield and this hat have painted oval plastic rhinestones in coral red acrylic paint sealed with the Artists Varnish.
Wings on the nat are crafted similarly as the detachable wing accessory, minus the wire but add hemp cord detail accent along the tops and veins of the wings, painted to match the rest of the wing. Also sealed.
