Character Description

A princess in exile, Crystilia is the only and first of her kind to ever have the ability to leave her own home behind in change to the explore the outside world.

She possesses the complete immunity to all types of coldness and has the power to wheel a large array of Ice related magic and spells.

She might be young, but she is also strong at hearth, ready to use her unique ice magic to defend herself from treats whenever necessary.

But her biggest weakness is her own curiosity and the lack of knowledge of everything outside her own home.

Background History:

Born within the mysterious and magical Evergale Forest, the well know home of the unicorn race.

She is the child of King Elgaroth and Queen Nimira the respective rulers of the lands of Evergale and the guardians of the Ancestor Gale, a massive snow white tree and the oldest know life form in all of Rift.

Every Unicorn born within the boundaries of the forest is know to have a special connection with the Ancestor Gale, giving them the unique magical abilities that they have and protecting them from evil and corruption.

In fact it is rumored that if a Unicorn ever leaves the hidden and protective boundaries of the Evergale Forest it will immediately lose its ties with the Ancestor Gale which can lead to the slow loss of its life force and in the end even death.

Crystilia was a curious little filly in her most earlier years just like how almost all newborns are, but at one fateful winter day when she was playing and sliding along a frozen lake a tragic accident happened which almost ended her young and precious life.

She fell into the cold lake as the ice under her suddenly began to give way.

She was of course immediately rescued by her own father as her quickly dived after her and brought her already unconscious body back up to the surface.

But sadly it wasn't enough.

Her body was already frozen cold with only the smallest gimps of life still beating inside of her.

Her parents tried everything to warm her up again, to save her and bring her back to consciousness but it was in use as the cold had already completely taken hold over her young and fragile body, refusing to let her go as her life was slowly withering away with every passing second.

In the end they desperately tried to pray and plea the Ancestor Gale for its help, for an answer in how to safe there precious daughters life but no answer came.

It was at that moment when a Ice Wraith suddenly appeared out of nowhere in front of them and told them that HE knew how to safe there daughters life.

Even though it was know to the unicorns to never really trust such a Wraith the royal couple was already so desperate and afraid of loosing there little girl that they immediately accepted its help without even suspicions.

The Ice Wraith told them that he could safe her from a freezing death by making her immune to the coldness.

The Wraith eventually was lead over to the little princesses body where it could preform the spell that would safe her life.

At the end her parents where completely over joyed as she eventually began to open her eyes for the very first time since the accident as the hugged there saved daughter furiously.

Even though the spell managed to somehow alter her fur and mane color to snow white and cold blue there parents where just so overjoyed that her daughter was alive and safe, "a small price to pay for the life of there daughter" they thought at the time.

But little did they knew that the immunity spell cast by the devious Ice Wraith did far more than just safe her live and alter her original fur color as both her and her parents only later found out.

Crystilia was not just altered from the outside but shockingly also from the inside as well inside.

The connection she used to share with the Ancestor Gale just like all the other unicorns within the forest was completely severed and gone including her natural magical abilities.

All of it was replaced by the powers the Ice wraith has given her, the magical powers of Ice and bone freezing coldness.

Because of this she was immediately viewed as an outcast, and in the end all the other unicorns with in the kingdom demanded her exile with great shouts of anger and disgust.

There parents tried there best to appease there subjects and to try to convince them that she was completely harmless and still the same little princess they once knew and loved.

In the end they managed to at least convince there subjects to allow her to stay just a little bit longer but alas in the end it was only temporary as the unicorns traditions and believe system soon forced her to eventually face her exile in the age of 11.

With extremely heavy hearts her parents escorted her to the very edges of the forest in that day and banishing her from her own home.

Normally the exile sentence would mean death and doom for any normal unicorn from the forest, but since she was no longer dependent towards the life giving and protection essence of the Ancestor Gale she was completely safe from leaving the comforting seclusion's of the forest without ever having the treat of losing her life energy or powers.

In other words she was free, and she would use that freedom to wander and explore the fast and almost unlimited world of Rift, finding new friends, finding new place for her to stay and to continuously hope to one day return home from her exile.
