Raphiel the Izzet mage, sometimes called the midnight. His investigations go around creating instants and using them as quick as he can, using the weird and their energy with their element fire/ice to empower their power. He is a quick guy under the powerful dragon, the most intelligent being in ravnica and he is quite smart too.
The man's spell book (the deck) doesn't has creatures at all, about the 20% of the pages are creatures, including his most trusted ally, the creature melek (the commander card) that helps him to foresee what he is going to be his next spell and even cast it before he can do it himself. His major power are the quick things like killing other decks and shooting fireballs to the people face's... twice... every time twice when most mages do it only one time.
His major weakness are mages that plays with a lot of huge servants (huge ass creatures x/x when X is a lot)... he can deal pretty fine with mages with tiny servants (has some good token killers)
