Final step :) Finished product of a 2 day art spree by in October mainly as a birthday present. When asked what kind of background they wanted. they had asked for a Rocky mountain Sunset from VA. So I found a picture and drew it as close as I could to the actual one. I tried many new techniques with this and very pleased that they turn out as well as they did. When they came over they hadn't seen any of it but small teaser pictures, they have loved it and well be framing and hanging it up. Kinda wish I hadn't told them about This one would have been great to sell. :p Used Sharpe and Color pencils for background Also added final detail such as shading and and texturing to allow certain areas to pop. Can you spot them all? Final product On size 18in x 24in paper with 1 inch border to allow for framing.
If anyone would want to commission something similar to this Please let me know. I would like to do something like this again. As for pricing and exactly what I would be able or willing to do will just depend on the idea you present. though to give a rough estimation base on this picture if i had sold it instead of gifting would had to be less from 60-80$ because of it size, detail, and, and time it took from start finish. I know its high but I feel that is a fair price for this piece at least, another piece might be different, who knows~
