Muses are just as they sound, they are goddesses of inspiration in the science, arts, and literature~ they normally move around by puffs of smoke, and are generally invisible to the naked eye, (unless they want to be seen of course ^__-) when they do walk around, their tail tends to drag behind them like a peacocks tail. and anything that brushes up against it is filled with whimsy~ (so if they walked across a sidewalk, the sidewalk would be covered in chalk drawings, or if they walked across a field flowers would bloom wherever their tail touched.) they love their tails, they groom them like crazy and if they ever fall in love with someone they often wrap their mate up in their tails when they cuddle or go to sleep~ (they also like to pluck a feather from their "ear" and give to their mate if they ever have to leave for a long period of time. so they can always "hear" their mate no matter how far they go ) muses can get preggers and give birth to new muses when they find a partner they deem worthy~

their ears don't really "hear sound" but they "hear desires" so its more along the lines of they are listening to your heart not your words. (kind of like a strange form of telepathy ) they can still make out what your saying because you have to think before you talk, but they can always tell when you're lying about how you feel. (and they'll always call you on it, they can be pretty blunt at times)

they like to travel around inspiring everyone they touch~ they normally don't stay in one place for too long. but they love to enjoy their time when ever they do stop off somewhere.

Muses are often very intelligent and some can be a bit mischievous. some like to cause a bit of trouble wherever they go~ they can change their form to suit their needs, they like to gender swap quite often too ^_- each one has their own personality so no two muses are ever alike~

they don't need to eat or sleep, (they will eat/sleep to make you feel comfortable around them, but they don't need it to survive) They are made/born full of energy, and inspiration, and magic, the more people they inspire the less magic they have, and when they've used up their very last drop of magic, they "die" aka they become mortal beings, able to choose one last form before their magic is completely gone forever.

death of a muse is a celebration amongst their kind, because they see it as becoming one with the earth, and getting the honor of living a "mortal life" on the earth.

ah and yes they have 3 eyes!! normally their two "normal eyes" are closed. the one on the forehead is their "true eyes" it can see people who need a muse in their life and thats how they know who to pick for a touch of their magic. (people would look gray and blurred thro that eye and only the ones who truely need a muse's touch will appear in color and be in focus) the "normal eyes" stay closed until they have found some one to inspire.
