So this has a bit of a strange story behind it, lol. The original character design is by Xiki, not myself. Explanation below

Vexi is one a character who's been in the works for ages. I've had her written up for almost as long as Arun. She's the "face" of the Annalene's crew, the diplomat if you will. She fills a number of roles on the ship, including communications and translation, but in her spare time she likes to play bartender at the ship's taproom.

The problem with Vexi is that I've been completely unable to come up with a good design for her. I wanted something avian, but not just your usual anthropomorphic bird. I wanted something with a really identifiable silhouette, and something that's unusual, and cute! But, I just couldn't come up with anything good. Try as I might, nothing I made came out very interesting. But, then I saw, well THIS! a wonderful design done by the super talented Xiki. I'll admit, it was almost exactly the kind of design I was going for. Then, surprise of surprises, she put the design up for sale. I really wasn't sure if I was ok using someone else's design for one of my own original characters, but Xiki was so sweet about the whole thing, and I was already in love with the design, so I said "Fuckit, I'm gonna do it." And here we are!

So anyway, yeah! Here's Vexi! Expect to see her around a lot more :D
