As an orphan Milo grew up living on his own, doing anything and everything he could to survive. And for all things considered things were alright by him, life was simple. Until one day he was abducted by a mysterious group of people, and over the years subjected him to a variety of experiments both physical and mental. He didn't know who they were, or what they wanted, other than to experiment; of course, there was nothing he could do, noone was going to notice a missing street urchin after all. Broken and defeated he was one day brought to a form of altar surrounded by dimly lit candles, at its center was a table covered in what looked like dried blood. Too exhausted to resist he was strapped down and ready to be 'assimilated' as the next chosen sacrifice. Surrounded by what are now obviously cultists speaking in a language he can't understand, he can do nothing but simply lay back and wait for his inevitable end. He closes his eyes and waits, finally happy that it was about to be over. He suddenly felt a force grab onto his maw and chin, opening up his mouth. He opened his eyes to see a cultist holding a large chalice over him, and without hesitation poured all of its liquid contents down his throat. At first, nothing...if anything it tasted good. But suddenly, his whole body felt a surge of pain a thousand times worse than what the cultists put him through for what seemed like an eternity, his blood boiled, his bones broke, and his very soul seemed to be melting...he was being taken over by something. "Your mind, your body, your soul...it belongs to me now!" is what he heard as this pain was manifesting itself, it was a demon, the blood of a demon god was in the chalice and was force fed to him, the cultists were trying to resurrect a demon god. He could have given it up, mind body and soul, he could have just let the demon take over and it all would have been over....but for some reason, he didn't. He resisted, and through some miracle he was able to overcome the demon by sheer willpower. His body reassembled itself and with the strength of a demon god he was able to break out of his forced home, killing dozens that got in his way. 740 years later he wanders the planet, in search of those associated with the cultists in search of a way he could purge himself of the demon. "This is not a gift, it's a curse."

With the blood of a demon god coursing through his veins, Milo (now goes by the name Gioven) was given in immense boost in physical strength, agility, accelerated healing (he also doesn't age anymore) and heightened awareness, he is also able to use the blood to summon a type of hellfire that can manifest itself and be freely manipulated to whatever Milo can think of, and can use it for offense or defense. His main weapon however is the weapon that belonged to the demon god himself, which he pulled out of his chest in order to escape captivity, it was originally massive, but immediately shrunk down to a size suitable for him.

There is a catch to this new power. He is able to overcome the demon, but not tame it. Every day is a battle for control, and every time he releases his power makes it easier for the demon to attempt to take over, it forever waits for the day Milo's strength falters and he can be born again.

an awesome commission i got from: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/jazzycat whom i thank for helping me design the overall look
