when i heard of the news, i was first shocked, then saddened. Robin Williams was not only my favourite actor, he was like a fountain of inspiration. his approach to human emotions was special. he was able to touch ones heart and i admired him for that. whenever i wanted to draw something funny or something sad, i always tried to embrace said emotion like he did. his movies were great and made people laugh, cry and think.
this picture is based on one of his movies and my personal number 1 perhaps even from all the movies i've seen before. the title is "what dreams may come" in german, it has a different title, but also very fitting. it translates into "beyond the horizon"
