I was told today, on tumblr, that I had not improved, so it was a good excuse to redraw something :D
It was like, an anon trying to... make me upset?  I guess?
Too bad improvment is like one of the things I'm the most confident about 8)

Maybe not, but is always cool remake a picture or make some updates in our favorite pictures. :3

maybe not what? O:
Redrawing old drawings is one of my favourite thing to do. u vu) It usually allows me to draw what I was going for back then, and gives a good feeling of accomplishment.

Maybe we not improved I´d say. Sorry my english... x3

That is cool, I like it too, I feel good because compare the old with the new and see which stuff changed, upgraded or decreased and those things... but the process sometimes is slow. :/ Anyway is funny. :D

Oh! I did improve!  The title was poking fun at the anonymous person who said I didn't.

haha, I'm very insecure about whether or not I've improved xD it's good that you're so confident about it, and looking at your work it's obvious to me that you have so idk what they're talking about lol

It is a mystery!
Honestly I think they were just trying to upset me for whatever reason!

Odd. I find the improvement very noticeable.

Can't wait for you to become available <3

I call bullshit on the "no improvement".
Although I'm untrained, the first thing I notice is instead of the comically proportioned digitigrade legs in the original, you've redone this with either better proportioned digitigrade legs or just went with plantigrade... that and the muzzle is actually defined in the redone version.

eheh don't worry!  As I said in the comment, I do believe I have improved!

i think you improved a bit hun, the muzzle is more sleek on the new one and the lines are a bit more fine tuned

all in all both pictures look great and you should be proud of your skills as an artist

edited to correct some spelling errors

Can I be borderline rude and say that whilst i can see and respect the improvement to your style and anatomy, I personally prefer your older picture? It seems more dynamic and stylized in a way I find aesthetically pleasing.

While I don't agree, I can't stop you if you like it, though I really don't see the dynamism, and the style is honestly made from anatomical mistakes xD;

And yet I like the anatomical errors :'D I'm wierd though don't mind me. I'm one for distorting anatomy anyhow.

As for dynamism, he seems to have a more comfortable arc of lean. In the newer one he looks like he's about to fall on his face, as opposed to balanced out as he leans back.

which is why I say I can't stop you eheh

O: actually I wasn't even going for leaning in the first one, and this is a result of me not testing what naturally happens when turning the head to look back while walking!  So the head is tilting in a really unnatural way, making it look like he's leaning back.

aaahhh i see :3

Very nice! The anatomy does look much better - particularly the heads. The old picture is hard to tell whether that's a cat, rabbit, or some other kind of cute mutant (cute-ant?); the newer picture is more clearly foxy (or at least canine.)

I like the outfit.

I have no idea what I was thinking back then.  Somehow, I thought that no nose and a short muzzle would still look like a fennec.  I could pretend I was going for some kind of alien ahah
