Neko Lightning

Custom pony of Lightning Ferron from the Play Station 3 video game Final Fantasy Lightning Returns.

This design is of Lightning in her neko alternate attire.

Pony base is an engineered pose of two different Sweet Heart Sister ponies (head and body are from different poses).

Full body repaint in flesh tone acrylics, eyes painted in my anime/fusion-realism style.

White ears and tail are hand-stitched authentic white leather, used the coarse suede side to give a fur texture. Skin side is on the inside. Painted the insides of the ears in pink acrylics.

Mane is re-rooted in dollyhair mlp nylon hair in the colors tiramisu, pink sugar, dusty rose and Barbie hair in the color sugarless gum pink. Permanently hardened and styled in my hair gel method.

Started the outfit with the white layer of the leggings which is white bias tape wrapped around the hind legs at the tops. Detailed with gray ribbons fastened at the back, with metal hoops.
Next layer for the leggings is a thin sleek faux black leather sewn over the white bias tape. Detailed with square gold rhinestones.
Next, the brown boots- stitched from faux brown thin leather with thick black authentic leather soles stitched on the bottom, detailed with brown ribbon tied around.

Skirt- Pleated from a red satin material. Hand-stitched and added a small block of red cotton fabric with Korean writing on it, as a personal flare to the outfit. Lined the top of the skirt with real black leather, detailed with a square metal hoop and rectangular rhinestone.

Sleeves on front legs- pleated wide white bias tape to make puffy sleeves, then stitched some X’s from auburn brown thread.
Lined tops and bottoms of sleeves with the suede-side of acorn-colored authentic leather. Detailed with black hemp cord, and some silver metallic rhinestones.

Chest/torso section- First layer is white wide bias tape then black authentic leather over top latched at the front with a square silver metal hoop. More of the acorn colored leather suede side layered over top with more of the square metal hoops detailing. Bag is hand-stitched from the skin side of the acorn-colored leather. Finished the piece off with a ribbon and bell choker.
