Forth in the Steampunk Reclaimed Series, Karma's Boomerang is something that I have thought of and felt strongly about for many, many years. Well let me say "Thanks for the comment." <Sarcasm> But sadly you are wrong on all accounts. Prices are well within reason taken account material and labor costs. Also to reach as much "savings" to the buyer as possible without taking a heavy loss, because then how would I make any money? (Note that your Hyperbole of your statement of cost of materials being less then $2's worth of material is incorrect and well, WELL underneath the actual costs of all the materials. ) I have actually taken everything into account to be fair to myself and the potential buyer. Time to create each piece can vary between 1 hour to 2 hours for completion considering the fact the necklace strand actually contains 2-2 chainmaille at the endings and between wrapping and gluing the wire and gears into place on "Sea-glass" which I clean and sanitize prior to this process and allow for drying. Each one being unique and each one requires its on time and patience because in wire wrapping, no single piece is the same. Also do note that I do not take the drying time into account for the jeweler's glue to properly bond each part of this process. Then lets take into account the graphic arts design work and posting times to be able to post these lovelies on several websites.(The process starts by taking photography of each piece from various angles and on various backgrounds, editing each individually through CS3, then resizing them for posting online formats, then creating said ad page for various webpages, creating a write up each being unique for each of the websites and posting them in a certain order, and creating tags for each of those websites as well . This process alone can take a few hours per piece and advertisement. to split it between 6 websites. And fixing the code to fit each sites needs. )
