The other day I saw a youtube video with a set of neko ears that apparently detect brain (non-intrusive) patterns to determine where to move. I didn't watch the full video to see what the person thought about how responsive and accurate they were, but its interesting to know people work on such things. Of course, after the video I was thinking about how cool it would be if they could eventually have directional microphones on the neko ears transmitting to the human ones.
As for having four actual ears... I count almost nothing as out of our reach, eventually.
