I went to Supanova on the Gold Coast on the weekend, and I just couldn't resist having Rattus ask for a sketch from Darren Close, the creator of the Australian comic book Killeroo. Killeroo looks unimpressed, but in spite of that Mr Close consented to do it. (Rattus was wearing a lab coat and goggles at Supanova, which influenced the choice of clothing in the sketch.) I am so glad I decided to abase myself like this!
Not that I have any issue with suit jackets or anything (kinda want to say I was wearing a suit jacket at least one time when visiting Frynge and Kyrien, and I had a suit jacket on for every Megaplex convention that I attended since the 3rd one in 2004, and I started wearing suit jackets at AnthroCon post-MP3 whenever I was a Dealer).
