Background/History
Father died of cancer when she was at an early age, was passed around from foster home to foster home until her father's family (he'd become estranged after a fight with his father, Chuck Thorndyke) learned of her existence when she was 15, and took her in. She quickly became friends with Sonic the Hedgehog and company.
And then she transformed into an echidna.
