She is very kind and friendly. If someone is in danger or needs help she'll try to help them out.
She is also a tad bit narcissistic.

Background/History
While going to her grandma house from her boyfriend's, she was followed by a man that she knew. After a they talked, he stabbed her in the back, while she started to leave, with a dagger of the dark matter Deus. Hoping to control the Deus as it took over her body. He realized that the staff, which can control the Deus, he had was a fake. After seeing that he couldn't control her, he hired a mob to capture Maria. After they did; they, by his orders, decapitated her and buried the parts.
The man now starts searching again for the real staff and will dig her up when he finds it...
