Trip peeked over and around the small dumpster he'd ducked behind, not sure if he'd lost his pursuers. The line between scavenging and theft could be murky sometimes, especially around the spaceport. It was sometimes risky, but it usually paid off. This was not one of these times, and he hoped they got bored of chasing before he ran out of places to hide.

Just a little sketch, and micro-story to go with it, playing with the concept of Trip as a street kid in a sci-fi setting. Something I've had pop in and out of my head in various forms for a while now. I was originally going to put him in mismatched, bulky layers, but when I tried to sketch it in, I didn't like it, so I went lighter-weight.
A messy sketch, with a largely half-assed background. Pretty sure I botched the perspective on the dumpster entirely, and the general anatomy could be a little better, but I was happy enough to scan and post!
