Character Description
Bri the Raccoon (Full Name: Brian Hunter) is full of mischief and is the ubiquitous troublemaker who loves to play tricks and pranks on others. His sly and charismatic personality gets him into trouble as much as it gets him out of it. Like many raccoons, he wields strong empathic powers through his hands meaning he can sense the residual emotions instilled into any object he touches. In addition he can sense others' true feelings and emotions simply by touching them.
Personality
Bri in outward appearance is sly, charismatic, and very witty. He is a practical joker cause mischief that sometimes gets him in trouble. However his uncanny ability to think fast on his feet gets him out of it for the most part. Deeper down though reveals an individual that is saddled with worries of living in a troubled Raccoon Nation tormented by human supremacists terrorizing the nation already burden by post civil war grudges and pressure from the Chipmunk Kingdom and other neighboring nations to do something about the human supremacists and settle differences among themselves.
Likes/Dislikes
Bri loves good food. Eating a good salmon or a rainbow trout makes Bri a happy 'coon. Pulling jokes. Blowing up things with M-80's. Being a center of attention. Having fun with good friends. Bri dislikes all out bullying and abuse. He has zero tolerance to those who make there own hatred known. Ivan S. Tremble Bri considers his number one enemy as he was told that it was him that killed his family in the canned hunts.
Background/History
Bri calls the Raccoon Nation of Procyon Lotor home. Born to a family of 5 in the city of Baton Rouge, he is the youngest of his siblings. He and his family were captured by Human Supremacists and staged for what is called a canned hunt. A canned hunt is essentially releasing a caged victim before one or more gunners only to be shot down by the gunners before being able to run to freedom. Bri did manage to escape the canned hunt. However the rest of his family were not so lucky. All of them were gunned down by a man named Ivan S. Tremble the head of the Human Supremacist cell terrorizing the raccoon nation. Fortunately the state gave custody of Bri to an Uncle who trained Bri how to harness the use of the innate raccoon talent of Empathic Hands, the ability to feel others inner emotions and the residual emotions instilled inanimate objects and environments simply by touch.
But during Bri's high school days he and his close prairie dog friend named Todd had another run in with Ivan S Tremble who turned out to be their school principal. The tension between Bri and Tremble came to a head when Bri in a fit of revenge bit Tremble in the face scaring the principal for life. To avoid trouble with the law and retaliation from other human supremacists, both Todd and Bri sought asylum in New Orleans located in the Chipmunk Kingdom controlled Southern Delta where the both have lived since.
Body
Bri is every bit the raccoon in appearance. His body consists various tones of warm gray highlighted by darker colored mask, glows, socks and tail stripes. His expressive eyes are a rich brown. He is of a short stocky build typical of raccoons. Though he is allot more agile than his outward appearance suggests. Also like raccoons, Bri wields explosive bursts of strength especially when threaten or enraged. Also immense amounts of stamina, endurance, a high pain threshold, and shear Raccoon will makes it extremely difficult to subdue Bri in an all out fight.
Clothing
Bri is usually in a loose fitting purple tank top emblazoned with the number "1" and a pair of denim shorts.
