So here she is, Rubber Mouse as designed and colored by Inkwell based on my fairly sparse description.  A direct link to the original art will go up once the artist posts her to his Tumblr can be found here.  If you like the look, please do consider commissioning him!

The pink outfit is pretty much her standard outfit.  The yellow is her dress outfit for special occasions.  As for the blue, so far it has no specific explanation, but perhaps that will come in time.

Don't get used to seeing her like this though.  This girl is rather danger-prone, so she spends more time on the losing end of battles than most heroines.

EDIT: Now with a link to her overly wordy character sheet!

This is a lovely outfit. Alice eagerly waits for the occasion to remove it from Arle body.
Arle

Eeep!  Remove it?  B..but last time she removed my outfit, she tore it off!  I don't want this getting damaged.  It's all cool and stuff.  Can't I keep it just a little while longer?  Or at least can I have it back in one piece?

Did you forget she got you a new one in replacement that could shrink into a pair of pasties? I think that this is the blue one. Also, I noticed that your character lose the obvious headphones. Did she replace it by small ones that can be hide inside her pretty ears?

Well, this is a few years later with another new outfit, a few security patches to her implants to free her from the control of naughty cows (for now), and some advances in technology that reduce the size of the interface enough to fit in her hairband.  This will be covered when I finally get the right combination of inspiration, time, and energy to write up her bio.

Oooh, super fun.  Glad I'm not the only girl with powers around here.
Arle
9 years, 6 months ago
"You have powers too?  Does that mean...I finally have a real partner in the Daughters of Justice?" she asks, her eyes opening wide and shining with hope.

Powers, got it covered: https://inkbunny.net/submissionview.php?id=548974

Hmm... well I am leader of Phoenix2 but I certainly could moonlight a bit.  Okay, it's settled, I'm your partner.  ::hugs::
Arle
9 years, 6 months ago
"Aww...you're an experienced heroine with your own hero group too?  And you're an awesome fire wielder!  First Setta and now you.  I wonder if I'll ever have a real partner.  No offense," she sighs and hugs back.
Jennagummi

And who says I'm not your real partner?  ::smiles::  I don't do anything half way.
Arle

"Really?  Even though you have your own team and everything?" she asks with a hint of concern.
Jennagummi

Yes, and I can always bring you onto my team too.  ::smiles::

She fidgets at the offer.  "Oh, um...I suppose, but Port Verdure is my home and the Daughters of Justice are our main group.  We have lots of big names and collectively get a lot of respect.  They're pretty good about not leaving full members as captives for more than a week or so.  Junior members and trainee members though..."  She fidgets recalling the months she spent as Alice or Hellkitten's play toy when she was still a trainee, and the various two to four week stretches she's spent captive since becoming a junior member.

No problem.  I'll have Anna set up a portal you can use to go back and forth easily.  That way you can protect your home and be... uh... trained on my team.  ::lopsided grin as I attach a leash to your collar::  And I'm not giving you much choice.  I've saved your butt, what, 23 times in the last 3 months?  I figure I pretty much own it by now.
Arle

"You did not!" she squeaks indignantly with a bit of a pout.  "I'm nearly indestructible, and only a handful of those situations would've killed an ordinary girl.  Even if you're counting the times that could've become really uncomfortable or embarrassing, it was barely more than a dozen, and I could've gotten out of most...well, some of those on my own!  ... Okay maybe it was closer to a dozen and a half, but I'm not that danger-prone!"  Softer she adds, "I'm not useless."  Her cheeks burn with embarrassment at the memory.

She blinks then motions with one hand for you to wait moment while her other hand goes to her mask.  "Just a second, my AR just kicked on.  What?  But how...?  Oh right, I forgot we have an esper as one of the founding members.  Okay, um, so apparently Phoenix2 is now the Phoenix chapter of the Daughters of Justice...if you want to be.  Phoenix2 isn't a recognized Special Emergency Civilian Superpowered Intervention Service here in Port Verdure City.  There are some weird legal complications if I do anything vigilante-like in co-ordination with someone who isn't one of the SECSIS, and it could be months for your approval to go through, so this is sort of a legal shortcut.  You can still be technically separate outside the city, but inside you're officially part of the Daughters of Justice.  To be official, you'll need to establish a base here, but it can link back to your other base.  They've included some suggested locations and the minimum cost plus the cost of suggested upgrades.  Huh.  What do you think?"
Jennagummi
9 years, 5 months ago
Sweetie-pet.  I didn't mean to talk down to you.  You're good, I just think you tend to get in over your head too often.  That's why I'm gonna be backing you up and training you.

Cool, I wonder what Mike and Countdown will say when the find out we're adjuct to the Daughters of Justice.  ::grins::

I'll put Anna on it, it shouldn't take more than a week and we can use one of the safehouses we already established when I was demon hunting before I met you.

Arle scuffs a foot along the ground with a sigh.  "I don't mean to.  It's just...I wanna be a great heroine like Super Pussy or Iron Dragon or Hoar Frost.  Heck, even Distaff is tougher than me, and she's old enough to be my mom, plus she barely has any powers at all, but she's got a body like she was barely out of high school and crazy good martial arts skills.  It doesn't even matter that everyone knows her mundane job is being an exotic dancer.  She's so tough, and I'm...not."  She gives you a huge-eyed stare asking plaintively, "Can you please make me cool like them?"

With that settled, she raises a warning hand and chuckles, "Actually, they should be really careful.  They may just want to stay on the other side of the portal.  This town has a way of turning heroes into heroines and villains into villainesses."

"Anyway, it should be fine whatever you go with, but you may want to check out what they're offering.  It might surprise you," she replies.

Hon, I know all about looking up to heroes and I get it a whole stage worse.  My dad is Fire Forge.  My mom is "I don't need a silly codename."  My big sis is Firestar and my big Bro is Warstar.  My aunts are Fireflyte, Sunfire and Flare.  My Uncle is Le Leon Noir.  My cousin is Sunstar, my niece Northstar and one of my best friends is Psistar.  Oh, and my sister-in-law is Spectra.  I've got a whole family full of folks to hero worship.  It's not about living up to them, it's about living up to what you can do.  Oh, if you're trying to be "cool," that might actually be the problem.  The first time I showed off durring trainging my mom put me on 3 extra hours of trainging a day for a week.  "If you're trying to look good you're not getting the job done!"  Mom always is such a hard case.

We Phoenix types all have some shifter in us, makes it virtually impossible for us to be force shaped.  One of my sons has that power, doesn't work on any of us.

Between Anna and G.R.I.M.M.I.E. our bases are pretty hard to beat.

Shaking her head at the long list of unfamiliar but doubtless impressive superheroes, she sighs, "See?  Even your family is more awesome than mine.  I mean, I get it.  You had a lot to live up to, but at least you got training.  The Daughters of Justice are nice and all, but they've had  a larger than normal batch of recruits lately, and they're a superhero group, so teaching skills are at a premium.  I think when they finished testing and realized I'm nearly indestructible, they decided my training could be handled by mentorship with various heroes."  In a low voice she adds, "I think a lot of heroines use me as a 'Get out of horrible trap' card.  Unless a nuclear bomb or disintegrator ray or the like is involved, I'll probably survive it but they might not.  I'm not trying to look cool, but I want to be more valuable as a partner.  Then I won't have to look cool because I'll be cool!"

In contrast to her earlier angst, your claim of immunity to transformation is met with a wry smile and a raised eyebrow.  "Really?  Because that's what Alter-Nate thought when he visited.  I don't know his full name, but his first name used to be Nathan.  Now she's had to drop the last letter from her hero name and changed her name to Natalie.  Our mad science is crazier than most.  Oh, and I forgot to mention we're sitting on top of a huge mana well at the convergence of several major ley lines, so there's that too."  She shrugs as if this is nothing all that special.  "Anyway, don't say I didn't warn you if you don't at least consult the local experts and get yourself transformed of your base broken into and all of you kidnapped and put into humiliating public displays."

No worries about that here, we all work together to achieve our goals here.  Every one of us has certain strengths and weaknesses, only by working together can a team work right.  Heck, I ever tell you about the time I got "Bambi Meets Gozilla'd" by a Nerka.  My friend Pansiha, no real powers at the time, saved my butt with an ordinary shovel.

We're Phoenixes, we have to operate in universes where the different laws of physics turn you inside out and cause your soul to never have existed.  I think we can handle it.  Of course, if you believe my sis-in-law, we're actually some sort of figment of our own imaginations of folks who already died or something.  Firen is a huge pain about "revelations" and stuff.  Worse comes to worse we just go out to the deep desert with Firen and run an Avatar reset.  I remember when she did that to Themassa... ::shudders::  I means sure, it was fun watching her grow up again, but who gives up a thousand years of experience to be a toddler again!
Arle
9 years, 5 months ago
Arle gives her a blank look.  "What the heck is a Nerka, and how do you defeat one with a shovel?  Anyway, I know all that other stuff.  The problem hasn't been knowing how to cooperate.  The problem is having someone who works well with me."

She nods her understanding replying, "Yeah, that will probably keep any transformation from being permanent, but if you expect true immunity, you're likely to be disappointed.  I'm just saying there's something about this place that makes transformations, especially male to female changes, a lot easier than probably anywhere else in the world.  There's also weird twists of luck you have to watch out for.  Everything can seem fine and then something will ruin a perfectly good plan and suddenly you're a villainess' plaything.  On the plus side, it can happen to the villainesses too, though I've never been that lucky.  Still, for all it's faults, Port Verdure is a beautiful and really wonderful place to live ever since Mayor Cummings cleaned it up."

Let's see, I have a pic of that one here somewhere.  ::fiddles with the band on my left wrist::
Panisha Arrives: P10 by Pouncer

It's a semi orgainc, demisolid, particulate form with a taste for emotionally flavored energy.  Dang thing tried to eat my armor.  It turns out it doesn't much care for solid, non energy attacks.  Jam and nice chunk of metal into it's foot and you short it out, rather painfully.  Then you just punch it into the air and hit it with so much energy at once that it can't process it all at once and explodes.

We'll deal with that as we go.  Just remember, if probablillity flops, like my brother can do, just make your own luck.

She studies the footage for a bit, reaching over to rewind back to the beginning then watch it to the end.  "Oooh...so do you always collar your girlfriends then spirit them away?" she giggles, not caring half as much about a nasty cloud monster or whatever as she does about the cute Jenna with her equally cute lover.  "If this is a good example of my new family, I don't mind being the family pet!"
Jennagummi
9 years, 5 months ago
Sometimes.  Would'a maybe spiritted panisha away then... but my mom said I couldn't.  ::giggles::  I was only 12 at the time.  However... I did get her to come live here now.  I really seem to have this bad habbit of running off with cute girls, and the occational cute boy.

Family pet?  Few have been able to manage that feat, espeically with the size of the family.  Auntie Stephanie and Wescott are the two who succeeded.

Not exactly sure on your tastes when it comes to the male members of the family.  ::nuzzles and hugs::  Still, I think you're sexy.

"Really?  You didn't seem all that small.  Did you mature early or something?" the comparatively small rodent replies as she eyes Jenna's figure.  "Anyway, I don't mind being part of a collection as long as I like the collector and don't actively dislike the other parts of the collection.  So far I don't think there's much risk of that."

At your reply, she sticks out her tongue then giggles, "Okay, maybe not the whole family, but perhaps the interested females in your harem.  I'll stick to just being friends with the guys.  On the off chance there are any that don't fit either category, well, that's strictly a case by case thing."  She gives a shrug and a wry smile.  "What can I say?  Port Verdure is just my kind of city."
Jennagummi

Not really.  Sometimes... well, I wasn't the happiest with how I was developing at the time.  So sometimes I would accidentally add a little extra to my chest with my powers.  ((and my artist needs a bit more work on my tween anatomy))  Also, Pani was only 10 and of a smaller species.  Well, I would be a smaller species too, but my dad, being a human, really buffed up my height compared to mom's side of the family.  And mom is about the tallest gummi bear there is.

Don't worry, I keep peace in my herd.  No hate allowed.

Well there is Mom as well.  Heehee, you know Dad always said he was the token male on the original team.

She shakes her head and smiles up at you.  "Well, I think you looked beautiful back then like you do now, and it looks like Panisha felt the same way," she replies pulling you into a hug and giving you a quick kiss.

While she didn't look worried, the reassurance is clearly appreciated.  "I didn't think you would, but it's good to hear all the same."

"So what's this about your mom?  Anything special I should know?"
Jennagummi
9 years, 4 months ago
Thanks.  ::snuggles and kisses back::  Thanks, honestly I thought I was the worlds second biggest tomboy in the universe at that age.

No problem.

She's a cranky former chieftan of a barbarian tribe.  A bit shorter than you and twice as agressive as me.
Arle
9 years, 4 months ago
"If you're a tomboy, you're easily the cutest tomboy I've ever met.  I would've told you the same back then too."  She gives you a wink then adding, "You're also really sweet and a good kisser."

The reply she gets leaves her blinking.  "Huh.  Sounds like she could've been a tough parent.  Did she make you do sword drills or something?  I guess she must have her soft side though since you didn't run away from home."  She tilts her head staring off into space for a moment.  "Say, should I be worried she won't like me?  I mean, is she the type to intimidate anyone who's interested in her daughter?  Just to be safe, maybe you should carry me home wearing your collar so I'm more like one of the spoils of battle," she finishes with a little smile as she touches her throat where the collar rests.
Jennagummi
9 years, 4 months ago
((Sorry, a bit behind after a bunch of stuff))

Awww... shucks.  ::blushes::  I was such a tomboy back then that my pet cat got revenge on me once by having my artist put me in a pink, frilly dress.

::giggles::  Dad said I could wield a sword before I was walking and that I had my first solo against a dire wolf at age 3.  Mom is just cool, it's hard to explain.  I think Dad mellowed her quite a bit, he's like the total opposite of Mom in just about every way.
Nah, you don't have to worry too much about mom.  She knows I can take care of myself and I've got pretty good tastes in pets.  ::laughs::  I bring you home like that and Dad will tease me that I'm spoiled.
Arle
9 years, 4 months ago
((Well, I certainly have little room to complain.  I've been really busy myself lately, so I won't fault ya.))

"No really, it's true!  I mean, I'm not an expert, but I have been kissed before, and you're good," she insists, her hand coming to rest lightly on your upper arm.  Your next words bring a bright if slightly incredulous smile to her face.  "Really?  You were so opposed to looking girly that you didn't even want pictures made of you looking girly?  Did she also have you skipping through a field of flowers or having a tea party with a bunch of stuffed animals while wearing that outfit?  Because that's probably what I would've done if I was upset with you...or if I was looking to be punished."  She finishes by jumping away from you, winking, then turning her rump towards you and slapping it twice as if in challenge.

The admission that her half-joking question actually hit the mark leaves her gaping.  "What, seriously?  Oh my goddess, you are so much cooler than me!  I was happy being able to read and do simple addition and subtraction by the time I was five, but you were busy being a little badass warrior princess or something!"  She shakes her head in wonder before your reply breaks the mood with a blush and a chuckle.  "So she'll trust that I at least count as quality booty to plunder even if she doesn't see me tied up and slung over your shoulder?  You know, maybe I don't mind spoiling you...but fair enough.  We can keep that out of his sight at least."
Jennagummi
9 years, 4 months ago
::swats your butt playfully::  Now, cut that out.  We both know that won't punish you.  I'll have to be far more creative.  ::grins playfully::

::giggles::  Well I hope dad is joking.  Still, mom has trained me as long as I can remember.  Plus Dad, Uncle Pouncer, Sensei Paul.  I've had good teachers.  Now, I did actually bust my first demon when I was nine.  True story.  ::grins::

Let's.  When mom was a barbarian chieftan, before I was born, she lived a really rough, easter European, pre renasance, tribal life.  You really couldn't tell she was in charge compared to how the others lived.  She hates pampering... to a degree.  She'll let dad or Firefly get away with a little.

I, however, don't mind being spoiled at all.
Arle
9 years, 3 months ago
Obviously enjoying the moment, she laughs, "Not right now it won't, but if you had the override codes for my implants, you could change that."  Despite her light, cheerful tone, there's just the faintest tightening of the muscles around her eyes and her ears almost imperceptibly dip.  Only someone trained to observe and assess would be likely to notice these hints of concern and something else.  More of an intuitive leap than deduction, but it could well be anticipation or even arousal.

Oddly her reaction to being told you were exaggerating is to seem even more impressed.  "Jenna, I wasn't even a crossing guard at school until I was eleven.  My greatest achievement was having placed second in a local gymnastics competition.  Heh...guess I was always pretty flexible.  But you...you were training to be awesome!"  She leans in close to kiss your cheek saying, "No matter what you say, you will always be my warrior princess."  She leans back then to wink at you adding, "Besides, the sidekick of a warrior princess can have nearly as many fans as the princess."

Her gaze heats up as she practically purrs, "I really don't mind spoiling my princess."
