Wow, it doesn't look anything like the original design, which usually is a turn off for me, but, this looks great! There's plenty of appeal in the style you've employed here! Despite the realistic level of detail in the fur and shading, I like the simplicity of the facial features, not to mention the cute size of them! Yes, I think I'd have to say that the big eyes and smile is what won me over, as well as the visible shoulders and collar bone, which is always one of my most favourite themes. =D Very interesting and attractive interpretation!
