[EDIT #2: ONJ RIP 1948-2022]

I make no secret that I've been a lifelong fan of ELO (Electric Light Orchestra), an orchestral-rock/prog rock band from the '70s & '80s, of which I've been a fan of for the last 40 years...

Heck, my avatar

is based on the ELO logo used on their A New World Record album, and I quote the Prologue from the album Eldorado in my profile! :)

So.... I made mention in this journal a while back that I could imagine my main character, my mousiegirl, Amy, as Olivia Newton-John's character, Kira, in the movie Xanadu, which both ONJ and ELO share soundtrack credits equally.... Including a certain promotional poster, and inside jacket illustration, of ONJ holding aloft the ELO logo, with Amy emulating the same imagery with my ELO-style logo avatar... :)

Well,

LupineAssassin

had a similar idea, of Amy as Kira inspiring him as Sonny Malone (the mane male character in the movie), and planned to commission

betsy

to fulfill the ideas....

And here it is! :)
