I take things very literally. I learned to compensate for it with time, but it's something I have to do consciously. When the Sega Technical Institute character outlines compare aspects of Knuckles' character to Dorompa in Obake no Q-tarou, I spontaneously strive to make a 1-1 match, even if I know that's not what they mean. This isn't precisely how it happens, but close enough a tangible representation of the impulse and results.
