Jen is a bengal tiger with a very open mind and a clear conscience. She doesn't second-guess herself or care what others think of her. She does what she wants, when she wants, and enjoys it while she's doing it. While most would try to call her a "slut", she just shrugs it off and takes it as a compliment. If she weren't good in the sack, she wouldn't be getting so many guys. Her father knows and is proud of her. While she is very open sexually, she has experimented with bisexuality. After trying it with a couple of girls, she discovered they just can't get her going like a nice dick can. She has been friends with Jerry Squirrel and Geoff Bevar since they were babies, and she considers herself the leader of their friendship. She is a tomboy at heart and doesn't fret with silly things like make-up and jewelry, and she absolutely refuses to wear skirts except for when she's forced to. She is the captain of the swim team, even though she's second fastest on the team. She dated Billy briefly and, while she fell hard for him, has gotten over that break-up to return to her normal ways.
Jerry Squirrel
Jerry is a squirrel of few words but many ideas. He has been friends with Jen Tigre and Geoff Bevar since they were babies. He tries not to draw attention to himself, knowing how much both Jen and Geoff love the spotlight, and he's happy to play second fiddle to them. He is the third fastest swimmer on the team, yet the most reliable. He considers himself a "fixer", trying to fix any and all problems he sees around him. Even though he is not remotely shy, he's very pure in his ways, at least until a certain photo of the team went public. Once he discovered how many had the "hots" for him, he's started to break his shell, first by posing for some naked photos to make everybody happy. Who will he let claim his virginity? Nobody but Jerry knows.
William Plats
Billy is a newer member to the friendship of the team and to the team itself. Being a platypus, he is naturally gifted in the art of swim. Being a great swimmer, though, he often feels bad about competing against others, knowing he could probably beat them easily. He has a natural good heart and tries not to step on anybody's toes. He is the fastest swimmer on the team. Despite his weird looks, he has become a heart-throb himself, gaining a lot of attention that he never thought he'd have. He dated Jen Tigre briefly, but after he started getting his attention, they had a conversation about it that he took as her breaking up with him, so he considered themselves not together anymore. Billy is always looking for the next big adventure.
Geoff Bevar
First and foremost, do not call Geoff "Geoffrey". His official name is not Geoffrey, so he hates it when others call him that. Geoff is a very egotistical beaver, loving any and all attention he gets. Some say this is because his parents are too busy with work to really spend time with him, and others say that he loves the attention because he was unable to win Jen Tigre's heart, but it's really simplistic. He loves attention because he loves himself more than anything. He has been friends with Jen Tigre and Jerry Squirrel since they were babies. He is the slowest swimmer on the team, but only because he is too lazy to make himself faster. Geoff is always looking for the easy way out of any situation. Because he loves himself more than anything else, he often rubs people the wrong way and then doesn't care about it. To him, if they don't like him, they can go away. Bisexual and homosexual guys may have a hard time getting along with this homophobic beaver though. Though he claims it's not true, a lot suspect that his homophobia stems from some very latent homosexual desires. Pair all of this with his nasty temper, and Geoff can be a social nightmare. He doesn't intentionally try to upset others, though. The worst event in his life thus-far is when Billy was able to win the heart of Jen. Geoff tried for years to do so, and Billy did it in weeks. The break-up between them was harder for Geoff than it was Jen, because he felt wronged when Billy dumped "such an angel". The two have since worked things out and maintain their rivalry-friendship to this day.
Amber White
Amber is an arctic fox who is the newest addition to the five. She is very shy, and very afraid of boys. Like Jerry, she too is a virgin, but she doesn't plan on losing that anytime soon, mainly because of how frightened of men she is. She saw a very bad experience between her father and her mother, and hearing often how guys are only after one thing has made her terrified of them. That being said, as long as there are just as many girls in a room with her and some guys, she can sit comfortably because she knows she's safe. This is how she eventually got to be friends with Billy, Jerry, and Geoff. Amber is the fourth fastest swimmer, which she doesn't mind. Her very first encounter with this particular team was in an event when she was on the opposing team. Billy beat her in a race, and felt so bad afterward that he apologized to her, which she happily accepted. She is very timid at first, but if you can warm her up, she can be the life of the party. She looks at Jen like a big sister and at Billy like a big brother, and hopes that one day she can finally break her shell and her fears.
asked me a few questions about my characters. So I decided to write up this quick bio for them. If you think anything needs added or have any questions, make sure you let me know.
*UPDATE*
I forgot to include Jen's tomboy nature and Geoff's homophobia. They have been included. Let me know if anything else is missing.
Maybe? I dunno. That thought never really crossed my mind. After my "When Billy Comes To Town" story, I tried a spin-off where it retold some of the story from another character's eyes, but it didn't test well, so I been sticking with Billy. Until recently with the swim team picture and now the pin-up of Jerry, nobody really showed any interest in anybody but my plat. So I might think about a little mini-comic with them or to write more stories with them in them.
