Character Description
One of the two Shakalaka children rescued by Luneth. Never one to usually be shy about what she has on her mind, she never hesitates to speak without reservation. Gets moody easily, so the others sometimes have a hard time getting along with her. She never lets anyone get real close to her, unless she knows she can trust them. She seems to have something to hide...
Personality
Pubicly known to be sadistic; often moody and tempermental; once someone has gained her trust, however, she's loyal to the very end.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: meat, hunting monsters, and one-upping Cha Cha every chance she can get.
Dislikes: Thunderstorms (since most Shakalakas have a keen sense of hearing, the loud roaring made by the thunder makes her nervous); being one-upped by Cha Cha; people going into her bedroom and into her things without permission.
Background/History
Along with Cha Cha, she has been taken under Luneth's wing. An incident that occurs when the three of them have to hunt Jhen Mohren for the first time forced her to reveal her actual gender to them. This causes Luneth to act strangely towards her, which frightens her into running away. During the time that she is found to be missing, she takes lodging with an unknown male, who impregnates her. When Luneth and Cha Cha find her, she apologizes to them for running away. Around this time, she has no memory of the nightly rendezvous she had with the father of her unborn child. However, upon returning home to Moga with the others, she discovers that she is pregnant. This fact causes her to become less talkative around the others, who don't seem to notice the slight change in her personality. Feeling that she has nobody to turn to about her situation, she stays in her room whenever she and the others take breaks between quests. Eventually, from reading her diary, Cha Cha finds out about it. When she sees him in there, she tells him everything to the best of her ability. She thens pleads for him to tell no one that she is bearing a child. When he gives her his word that her secret is safe, she finally realizes that she could trust him with anything. Because of this, they become even closer, strengthening their bond, and eventually, love. During several weeks into her pregnancy, her baby bump becomes noticed by everyone. When word gets around about it and falls upon Luneth's ears, Luneth immediately thinks that Cha Cha is the one guilty of doing so. And before Cha Cha could answer him and try to explain the situation to him, he walks off in anger into the house, then silently weeps. Kayamba, hearing him and sensing his sadness, comes out of her room to comfort him. However, when Luneth sees her pregnant, swollen tummy for himself, he cries even harder. This makes Kayamba become distressed, not knowing what else to do to comfort him.

Body
Has a small, feminine frame. Being a child, she is tiny, only a few inches shorter than Cha Cha. The height difference between them is difficult to tell because of her Pincer mask. Her skin color is a shade lighter than Cha Cha's.
Clothing
Wears a cloak and loincloth. The loincloth is attached to a rope belt that's below her waist, and is in the shape of flower petals. Her Pincer mask is bright blue in color, and is made of coconut and crab claws. It is painted with a white triangular marking that starts from the bottom of the mask and the edges spread out near the horns. Her weapon of choice is the Bullfango staff, with her secondary weapon being a boomerang.
Accessories
Wears a scallop shell necklace, and leather wristlets. Wears a conch shell on her back that she uses to store her boomerang and anything that she finds while gathering during quests. She takes this conch shell off before bathing, and before going to sleep.
