I'm sorry my last picture set a argument in motion on a drawing of a young german, kraut or what ever. THUS its been removed. I didn't draw it as a mud slinging drawing. And for those who know history it world war one was fought by thousands on young men who beleave the glory and grand stories their government told them French , German , British , American and every other nation that fought in it. I had family fighting on both sides and being able to hear their stories first hand and see how it was hard for them to talk about as they remembered what one called hell. I'm not saying any war isn't bad for those who have fought in it and I will always stand beside those who have and offer them a handshake or more if I can. The drawing Fallen was inspire by a story I read and a story my great grandfather who was german told me about being hunkered down in a foul pool of water in nomans land and seeing his friend beside him crying as he realized he was shot.
I'm sorry if I seem upset but ..............I hope THIS picture won't cause trouble ................nuff said bye

Well, WW1 was useless and a waste of lives, the monarchs of Europe could have solved all of that piecefully. And I am not going to point my finger at any specific country or faction. Everyone with a leading position could have had the sense of stopping the catastrophy that was taking place. Yet they rather ignored that or acted way too late in that matter to stop the War.

What a Fool, guess he was one of those idiots who think mass killing an entire generation of young men is a good thing. Guess the person was one of those fools who play soldier in a forest and think they are totally smartasses because they know how to hold a gun. >.<

Well mostly if they are evil krauts (and I think at first he or she thought it was ww2 but I corrected him or her but she or she replied "and?" then went on about Hitler)

My Great Grandfather was one of the Krauts fighting at the Western Front from 1915 to 1918 and had to flee the country in 1933 after the Nazis took over and the "oh so great and honorable" western World watched and even fueled Hitlers greed for land instead of putting him and his asskissers into their place.

Don't worry about upsetting people. Post what you like and ignore the complaints. Controversial? Good, post it. Some guy getting shot, some person doing something horrible, it's all good in its own way and people will hate it or anything else because they can. Ignore them, tell them to sit on your middle digit and swivel, or just ask if they have a real comment and move on.

I agree wholeheartedly with this.. I think anyone whos offended by the truth are ignorant to its lessons. Stupid people do stupid things, smart people outsmart eachother. Category doesnt matter the point is your not gonna change the way someone thinks just by conforming to what they believe. However conflict slaps ignorance in the face when they can't do anything about it.

Post it... let them be offended.

Just remember, you can never please everybody, but as long you're pleased you can even post your picture and block comments, you will show what you are pleased with, and show also you care little for the negativity of the rest

I didn't see the comments on "Fallen," but I don't think you should ever feel compelled to take a picture down because some people have a problem with it. If everyone on IB did that, how many pictures would be left?

I saw this drawing, and I have no idea what people could complain about. It's not even a very evocative picture (not to put it down). There's no disturbing or controversial imagery, unless some douchebag thinks a soldier would never break down and cry. Let me tell you, nobody feels like a soldier who has been in a real war. Their emotions run deeper than you can imagine, unless you've been there, and even if they never show it again, they've all lived this very scene, just maybe in different clothes.

It's not a 'horrors of war' image for shock value. It's just a man letting go of his emotions.

I was actually going to +Fav this, just so I could say that I +Fav "Nothing," but as it is in protest of some that don't know how to just close their mouths and walk away, I can't make a joke of it.

You shouldn't have to censor yourself, you should be able to post what you want, when you want, and it's disgusting that those who protested will never know the shame of realizing that history's "bad guys" were simple people, like the rest of us, that had feelings, emotions, and dreams of their own before, during and after the wars.

There was nothing wrong with the last picture. I know "fuck the haters" is only a weak dam against the flood of idiotic hatred that comes with popularity among anonymous loners, but sadly, it's all I can offer.

I understand that bad days combined with all the shit people say when they can remain anonymous will push people over the edge sometimes but I hope you don't let it get to you too often. I hit watch because I like your work and want to see it and more than 2000 people did the same thing. Haters gonna hate but you've got a big ass following of people that are interested in regularly seeing your artwork. Even if some of them are only watching to piss on everything you put out, negative replies helped keep Howard Stern on air because of how much attention he got from the people offended by his material.

What beguiles me to no end is the fact that

received nearly twice as much pageviews as the aforementioned "controversial" piece... which is hands-down glorious IMO.
