Curvilinear, eh? No offense, but I really prefer rectilinear over fish-eye, unless it's in relation to somebody's vision when they're intoxicated, usually with something else than alcohol, i. e. stoned or high.
Lando

They all have their different uses, for sure!

I think this just look like a perspective from a camera or some lens, looks good.
DaddyDuckyBE
10 years, 7 months ago
Yes, it looks like a fish-eye which is curvilinear. Thing is, I prefer rectilinear ultra-wide angle lenses over fish-eyes unless for very specific uses.

That is an awesome kitchen! I'm a nerd with architecture |D I wonder how the sink works, what's the back of the sink? Does that hold the water for the sink? Fantastic job^^
Lando
10 years, 7 months ago
due to it being plumbed up to a hotspring, it's set to a constantly refreshing pool. The flow and mix of hot/cold is operated by those foot pedals. The little forward bowl can be segregated with that sluice gate so you can rinse/clean small things like your paws without sullying the main basin

That's so cool! I wonder, does all the plumbing in their home work in the similar way? Thanks for explaining, I love to learn about this type of stuff :D
Lando
10 years, 7 months ago
Yeah! And the heating works the same way, through radiators

It has a warm and comely look to it. Pleasant earthy browns with moody natural light streaming in through the windows. You pulled the curvilinear perspective off very well. When working on my own creative projects, I often struggle with 'clutter', that is, what objects to fill a room with as I live a minimalist / spartan lifestyle. However, I see pots, containers, wires and a telephone, pipes, beams, hanging herbs? Plenty of things that fit in a way that, it only seems natural. The characters themselves do not vary in any significant way to their surroundings, they do not stand out, but rather blend in; they seem to be an actual part of the scenery and not just plastered in front like so many artworks often do.

It was a privilege to have seen this.

It's comments like these that make me very happy to do art for you guys <3 thanks so much for the kind words. I will try to continue making things that are enjoyable to look at

What I think would be pretty nice, is, and this is just an assumption, but you are probably making similar works for various rooms; as there is a bedroom one already, and now the kitchen area.

Picture these blown up and printed out, laminated and framed, each one hanging in their corresponding rooms in your house. This one in the kitchen, the bedroom one in the bedroom, etc. Beautiful addition to any home, imo. Seriously, this is something I'd expect to see hanging in an art gallery.

I really like this image!   I like to imagine how things evolve with people of different characteristics.  I do wonder why the counters seem so tall for Kantra and Cedar.  Also I miss the idea of having the fridges set into the ground, where did those get moved to?

So far since I saw this one this morning I've sat and stared at it more then a reasonable person should, so much fascinating detail to absorb!  The place looks lived in and comfortable.
Lando
10 years, 7 months ago
They're just a tad over waist-high of your average fellow, not counting the ears! That's why they're so tiny looking.
The fridge got moved into the counter top where Cedar is :3
