I love how you here again hint these fur strand details, suggesting things here and there and the mind fills in for all the rest. :) Really beautiful and athmospheric drawing as well, with or without hinting. But yeah, the soft shading makes this feel wintery, and only helps to push it further the way the mind works, when looking at it. Though it could also be ashes after a forest fire, but I hope it is not. :)
