Character Description
Brown fur, beige markings, and general largeness define this alien being. He is from an unusual world and came here via a crash after escaping an experimental facility. He has the ability to change his size and to adjust his appearance based on a number of different forms he has access to. He is called a "psuedo-shifter" because of the fact that most of his forms do not actually change his species. Some forms, however, have a greater effect on his appearance than others, but he still retains the general instincts and behavior associated with his actual species. After utilizing a form change, he cannot revert to his base form for at least 30 minutes.

He can immediately use another form, but a previously used form is inaccessible for at least 60 minutes. In his base form, he utilizes a volatile energy known as "Vis". Vis is a raw energy form that is described as a "predatory energy"; this is because Djermengandre, through the use of Vis, can absorb other energy sources and power himself up or simply satiate his hunger by converting that energy into Vis. Different energy sources, such as radiation, can also temporarily change the properties of Vis energy itself.
Personality
Djermengandre is an upbeat creature who walks at his own pace. Although he can be lazy at times, when he gets going, he can be playful and rambunctious. When something makes him happy, it will truly make him happy and he will start bouncing all over the place and talking excessively. When angered, he transforms into a violent beast, immediately looking for something to take his anger out on. Overall, he is kind, friendly and gentle, even if he does enjoy causing a fair amount of mayhem using his size-changing powers.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes:
Eating good food, being around fun friends, smashing and damaging property, watching television, playing games, sleeping.

Dislikes:
Boredom, jerks, the effects of his collar being removed, being alone for an extended period, smelling clean for too long, cramped spaces.
Background/History
When Djermengandre was born on his home planet, he was unaware of a covert mission being conducted by a nearby research station. After only being in the world for a few months, he was found and taken to the VALcon Station #0, where he became the newest subject for the X-Form (Cross Form) experiments. The experimental process generally involved injections and many a test; the injections themselves contained an experimental energy source called "Vis", which would be the power source of his form changing abilities, which he would obtain if the experiments were successful.

For five years, he was regularly injected with this energy. It eventually mixed with his blood, causing his body to automatically produce the energy as his blood pumped inside of him. However, the presence of this volatile energy within him causes a regular amount of pain to shoot through him. To combat and null his body to this pain, he was given a special collar which prevents his body from feeling the pain that the Vis generation causes him. If the collar is removed, all the repressed pain will shoot through his body, causing him to lash out in violence because he thinks he is being attacked by something.

After three more years of experiments, the first form change was injected into him. The purpose of the X-Form experiments was to create a being with a natural and instant adaptation system. The X-Form would be able to instantly rewrite its genetic code, granting it new resistances to different types of terrain and conditions. The first form to be injected into Djermengandre was the Aqua form, a change focusing on water and aquatic performance. After 625 failed subjects, Djermengandre was the first to successfully initiate a form change.

The experiments, however, took their toll on Djermengandre. Miserable and lonely, it would not be for another year that he would make something of a friend in one of the researchers. This alien being would regularly talk to Djermengandre after giving the giant his meals, striking up pleasant conversations and telling him about different planets. It was through these conversations that Djermengandre obtained a desire to travel through space. His new friend, named Talin, promised Djermengandre that he would begin building a custom ship for the beast and that he would help Djermengandre escape.

Three years passed in a regular manner, all the while Talin, with a small crew, was building a ship in secret. He was not only constructing a ship, but a plan to help Djermengandre escape. However, a malfunction in the security system during one of Djermengandre's regular "check-ups" would allow him an early opportunity to escape. Upon breaking his capsule, he immediately went on a rampage, destroying whatever he could get his hands on. Multiple other experiments were also released, but they were horribly deformed defects. Djermengandre himself fought through the station, soon coming upon the body of his friend Talin, who died from a cieling collapse. The big hybrid alien thanked his deceased friend and made his way to a hidden ship bay, where he discovered the vehicle that Talin and his team had built.

Jumping into the cockpit and activating the machine, the auto-pilot directed the craft out of station, giving Djermengandre his first real view of the galaxy.

He was free. He set the auto-pilot to take him to Varadissa, his home world. However, while traveling through the Milky Way, he caught the bad side of the rings of Saturn, causing his ship to lose control and end up crashing on Earth, where he's been ever since.

The ID brand he was given still remains: XF0-626, abbreviated to X-626 on his actual brand. It is a symbol of his history. "XF" standing for X-Form, "0", the number of the station, and "626", his own ID, being the 626th experiment.
Relatives/Family
Djermengandre has no known relatives or family. His kind are born from the planet itself, via crystal incubators that grow out of the ground. Beings who are born exceptionally close to one another are considered family, but Djermengandre was born in a rather isolated area.
World/Setting
The world that Djermengandre originally comes from is called Varadissa. It is world made up of chunks of landmass, floating above a single core of energy. Each chunk has different terrain, so it is quite a diverse place. Varadisans are born with an innate ability to walk on any surface, so long as it is part of the planet itself. With a world that is made up of oddly-shaped, angular land-masses, this ability comes in handy for its denizens. A Varadisan can walk upside down or sideways, for example, as long as the surface in question is part of the planet itself. A Varadisan cannot walk on the ceiling of his or her home, for example.

Varadisans come in all shapes and sizes, their forms and figures differing depending on the chunk they were born on. Djermengandre was born on a grassy, relaxed chunk, so he was born rather hefty and with warm colors.

The energy making up Varadissa's core is called Lumin. It is a dangerous energy that fries anything that falls into it. The energy projects a field around the planet, giving it it's atmosphere and sky. As the time of day changes, the energy changes colors, changing the color of the sky accordingly. Energy can also spark off of the core, dissolving into chunks that the energy hits.

The atmosphere of Varadissa is teeming with different atoms. The interactions of these atoms causes differing weather phenomena, be it rain or storms.
Body
Djermengandre is always fat, more specifically obese. He has a large belly and a large butt; he loves both equally. Due to the Vis energy augmenting his growth when he was young, he stands 15 feet and 2 inches tall, weighing a nice 8504 lbs. He has simple beige markings all over his body and brown fur, with some dark brown markings in various places. He is normally disguised in the atmospheres of other planets besides his own; when this disguise is inactive, he has shining, gem-like eyes and eight tendrils come out of his back. His eyes are red and he has spiky, wild white hair and eyebrows.
Clothing
Djermengandre is not one for elaborate clothing. He usually opts to wear nothing more then underwear, such as briefs or a fundoshi, but he can also be seen wearing a diaper. He is also fully capable of going naked and walking around as such for days. The only pants he will wear specifically are black slacks with suspenders. As for footwear, he is usually barefoot, but he could wear wooden sandals if the desire ever strikes him.
Accessories
Djermengandre is always seen wearing his spike-studded bracelets and collar. His collar never comes off because it holds back deep pains that his body is always sustaining. He rarely takes off these accessories, but he can remove the bracelets if such a thing is ever necessary or desired.

This is the ref for Djermengandre's base form. I may make some updates to it, should I feel the need to do so in the future.
