Spotted Chai Commission - Books about their 'business'

A wonderfully done sketch by Spotted Chai (formerly known as Tsuhara) showing Suzanna and Monica - an automotive mechanic and lawyer respectively by trades, browsing a local bookstore about parenting advice. Suzanna snatches up a book entitled, "The Birth of Your Baby - A Visual Guide". Both are clearly not ready for the contents found within...

-- NOTE: My story snippet might be a little explicit, but its describing the book to explain their reactions, so I try to keep it within the realms of descriptive literature. You've been warned --

-- Supporting story snippet --

Suzanna snatches up a book from the 'Pregnancy/Childbirth/Newborn' section of the shelf, as Monica reads the outer dust jacket, "The Birth Of Your Baby....A....Visual...Guide?! Who would show their *business* to photographers to be in a book?" as Suzanna found herself opening the book, looking at book - as if drawn in by what she and Monica would find themselves doing in short order.

The raccoon flipped through the book curiously as Monica looked at the pictures, saying, "No, no, no" to each image as the pages were flipped. The first images were relatively tame - talking about hospital admission, calling the midwife, or knowing when the time is near for those who are attempting an unattended delivery. All sorts and types of furry femme were shown.

"Just...curious...you know?" as Suzanna continued to look at the pages, as things got more...explicit. 'At a certain point, they will just go to text, I mean - whose going to let their business be shown in COLOR' she thought to herself as she flipped through the pages. As she reached the next page, she found the expected wall of text was not there, but the images told the story of the birth of every baby of every couple in the book - each seemingly more explicit than the last; each possessing a certain profound honesty in hiding nothing.

"No way someone is shooting pictures of my parts, nothankyou! Nothing doing, not for a million dollars" Monica ranted quietly, looking at the book in shock as the pages left nothing to the imagination.

Suzanna noticed throughout, a certain raccoon woman who reminded her a little of her own mother, struggling through the throws of childbirth as her own delivery was shown without censor - letting the reader be an observer to an otherwise private moment. She stopped on a page that read with the impact of punch to the gut, a hand moving from the pages to her own belly.

On the open pages shown to all the world was the raccoon woman pushing tiredly, struggling to bring her seemingly enormous baby into the world, her body seemingly too small to accomplish the task. Suzanna thought about the picture, which focused on the almost-but-not-quite crowning head of the baby seemly stuck within its mother, 'I'm not that big...how can anyone do that? Are they insane?!'

Monica stopped ranting long enough to read the text and see the picture, gasping with shock, "Oh....my....GOD... Come on! I mean, just knock me the HELL out until the kid's eighteen, alright? The 300 Spartans had an easier time than this woman - and they all fuckin' DIED at the end!" in her quiet tirade that only Suzanna and her could hear.

It was clear to both of them, however, that this was how 'the business' was done...

The book they are reading is not an actual book out there, the closest one I've ever seen was a pictorial work called 'Birth' I think. It's WAY WAY out of print these days, but I remember being in high school mentor class and a classmate was attempting to do research on becoming a midwife, so I wrote down the ISBN and title down for her to use. Sadly, after a while - the item was destroyed and the library never carried a new copy - so I never saw all of it.
