Often, when I alight here, I associate good feelings come and gone. It’s as if I can faintly see them. I can almost hear their whispers in the air. It’s as if, somehow, that which can never be understood is speaking to me. It is saying “my dear child…you see but an echo of what the world is supposed to be."

And then, my friend, I need only remember this as the world and my changing emotions often try so hard to convince me otherwise.

Depending on the warmth setting of the colors of my display, this invokes a very, very broad set of emotions within me. If it's cold, then it's still so bright that I want to take in the scene for a good while. Actually I wish I could "listen" to that scene. Don't know if you ever have played older adventure games like, say, The Dig, but there were some stunning Vistas there that came to life even further through the addition of a noise of a faraway stream, or birds in the far distance, or wind howling, or a beach at night vs a beach during the day ... this drawing oozes that kind of athmosphere. When my screen is normal, one moment this makes me feel dreamy, the next I want to stand up and go explore :), see what else is there. And on warm, I wish I could just soak in that sunlight as if I was some kind of solar panel. Warm myself up!

I really think this is absolutely beautiful! Thank you!

PS: It can also make me shiver a little ... like I'm in the shadow of a huge mountain and the sunlight will be back in full to warm me up, once I step out of it's shadow. Like an early morning.
