Katmadu Cougar knew it close to his cub's naptime. After giving
Flenhah a fresh diaper change, he carried the curious cub
out onto the porch. While looking beyond the steps, weather wasn't the
clearest or brightest due to the weather. However, the slow rhythm of
falling rain drops has a soothing sound to them. Kat made his way to
the rocking chair, while holding the otter pup in his arms. Flen was
constantly trying to watch every drop fall before his eye as it really
captured his attention. As the cougar sat, Kat turned his little one around
to get a good view, followed by a slow sway as the chair rock forward and
back.

The rain started to pick up, darkening the soil the surrounds the house
with rapid taps with every point of contact from the sky. Kat took in the
the fresh rain air, relaxing his mind as his ears enjoy the natural melody.
He then looked down to see how Flen was liking it. But noticed that the
curious Flen was a sleeping one instead. The big cat just smiled while
looking upon him, removing the small pair of glasses from his resting
face, and placed them on his blue shirt.

Still rocking, though a bit slower, the papa cat looks back up and gazes
out as the falling rhythm keeps on. He feels the cub squirms to get
comfy in his lap. And couldn't help but to hold him close.

(Note: Touching scene. I can't say how many times I got teary eyed working on it. It got to me ^^)
