The most terrific concept was the "Labyrinth of Flesh" where you,in a latex form-fitting costume, roamed to reach the core. As you threaded the maze, you became more & more deformed, sickening so, with your hands turning into genitalia, and so on ! Nearing the core, you became a crawling mess, no longer even remotely human !
Blocking keywords seems to have shut me out of these pics, tho.

The series I referred to is by "MoT" .Remember it's case sensitive.
Long ago, I wrote a computer game where the program draws a random maze on the screen, and then turns out the light, after a second. The game is - was- LIGHTS OUT. You had to use your memory to make your way to the exit. Remember -hitting a wall kills you ! You then have the options of either restarting the same maze, or starting a new one.
Lest it be impossible, you ARE supplied with 10 matches. 10. Each match burns for a set time, whether or not you move - I think. Remember this game was written long ago, and no longer exists - unless a friend preserved the disks of my old games. I no longer have the skill to write machine code games.
The matches illumed your immediate vicinity, and enabled you to make some progress before they went out. Reach the exit and you win, and your score is tallied, with each unused match becoming a bonus. How I don't recall. You worked with a reverse scoring system. Each move gained you points, and the object was to get out with as low a score as possible. After that, you try to get out with an even lower score. LOSCORE.
The game was written on an Apple ][ , a computer was officially declared "obsolete" by Bill Gates in 1996. No more would be made, no more repairs would be done. Mine QUIT on me late in 1996. Kill Bill Gates.

I accidentally blipped a comment in editing the above. I recall a maze game from an early issue of MAD magazine, reprinted in a pocket book archive. you had to avoid such dead ends as dead cats, an ugly princess, a Russian army recruiting station, etc....However, by backtracking from the exit, you'll find that ALL the paths from START end up bad. To get to the exit, you have to get in by a side door. But that was MAD magazine for you.
