Hmm, I've done mice before so I would hehe. But not yet squirrels and definitely not the leptictidium haha. Will see~ I'm sure I will give a try at them eventually~ c: It's always fun to experiment with different species after all hehe.

Just a shame I can't afford to commission you, or I'd be wanting something drawn of my mousiegirl in your style... :)

And I'm always trying to get artists to draw leptictidiums for me-- Sometimes, I have success... About half the leptictidiums on both IB and FA are my fault, one way or another... ;)

...And I'm a bit... Squirrel-obsessed... ;) I'm a writer, and most of the stories have squirrel characters. :)

And Squirrels are cute and interesting creatures~ I really don't know why I haven't made a char on them yet lol. I particularly love their big furry tails. xD

I wish I could too, as I'd love to see Amy be drawn in your style, but I could only ask if you'd consider it, with no expectation that you would. (I live on SSI disability, so money's a scarce thing.)

Sort of a combination in appearance to an anteater, elephant shrew, deer (because of known fur pattern), and jerboa, with the closest modern similarities to the Cuban & Hispaniolan solenodon species and the Australian bilby. The difference with the solenodon is that the leptictidium was bipedal, and one of the very few mammals- along with humans- who could run, not hop, on its hind feet.

I love squirrels... IB needs more squirrels.... And I do so love those big bushy tails, too... :) (And Amy is even more squirrel-obsessed than I, and I'm very much so... ;) )

Nothing wrong with purple. :p My squirrel character Amethyst du Sciur is also purple and is based on a real squirrel that

dared someone to make a furry out of.

DM's such a hopeless romantic, isn't he? ;p It's tough to be in love with a critter when it's been extinct for several million years. :o

It's amazing all the colors squirrels come in – gray, red, orange, brown, gray with russet highlights, black with white and russet, black, white, albino, and now purple, too. A few more colors and we'd have an entire color palette. :p

I imagine a leptic would be cute in your style. Who knows? Purple leptics? I imagine

would go for that wholeheartedly. :p
