Interesting. O.O since I know not what happened, I can't really comment on that portion. But since you have apologized and accepted fault, there is little more you should have to do. You may have been the bad guy there once, but that doesn't mean that is who you are. If they cannot forgive and move on, then that is their issue, and not yours.

Best wishes!

As a passionate writer, I have a tip for you when doing these videos.

It helps if you don't try to record the moment you feel the emotion of what you're trying to say, because as we can see in this video, it comes out confused and mis-pronounced.

So when you feel the emotions emerge, write a script of what you want to say in the video instead. It will help you outline what you're trying to say and give you a moment to check for ways of making it into clearer points. And if you read it when you're less emotional, it means you're a lot less likely to mis-pronounce and make confusing statements.

Overall, I found your point in the video valid, but due to the confusing nature in which you delivered it, I couldn't finish the video because my head started hurting.

Okay, I myself have been a victim of this.

There's something about furs in particular where they either get hurt really easily or they have this powerful need to "white knight", if you know what I'm saying.

Furs are generally very unforgiving people. Once you've crossed a line, there's no turning back. My friend had a very good explanation for this, but in all honestly, I feel like it comes down to being oversensitive.

A lot of furs are very sensitive. They expect people to just conform to the way they want to be treated, without understanding that the social world doesn't work that way. In reality, your friends are just the people that you can stand being around the most. You have to make compromises and sacrifices in order to meet on a middle ground, but that takes a sort of honesty that furs are not familiar to. They're very passionate in their beliefs and ideals and will stick by them till the day they die. They don't like to look at themselves, so when you try to be honest towards them about what you think and see, they try to deflect it immediately. Their defenses usually come down to "I'm not like everyone else." or " That's not me." or "That's just what you think."

I think it also comes down to that in reality, a lot o f furs are very passive or submissive, that by attempting to troll people it gives them a sense of power. They try REALLY, REALLY hard to get a rise out of people, which is completely hypocritical of what the entire fur fandom stands for! We're supposed to be accepting and caring, yet if you say the wrong thing that upsets one person, you find yourself in a position where you're attempting to defend yourself from not just one person, but that person's friends, and anyone else who was once a witness and simply agrees with what the aggressor is saying. It's never fun to be put in that position.

But if furs have spent their entire lives abused, they should know the pain that comes with it. Why they would wish that sort of pain on anyone else is beyond me.

i might even go out on a limb and say that having 99% of your interaction with people you don't know very well/at all strictly on-line lends itself to hypersensitivity... so often in life i have found that the people who hated me at first turn out to be my best friends or at least most interesting acquaintances... online communication does not often go in this direction sadly as there is no visual nuance, facial expressions, etc. ...
