You don't have any idea! This isn't going to be just another fanfic. I'm making this shit into a huge multi-book epic! It also contains characters from other franchises as well, like Regular Show, Chowder, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Zatch Bell, Pokemon, and Sonic the Hedgehog to name a few. I even reference the Gumball vs Adventure Time rivalry many times, as Finn is one of the main villains and he and Gumball are bitter enemies (I'm sure by now you already know which side I'm on in the rivalry). It's also a bit more mature than the show itself, as you probably guessed. In the fanfic, Gumball does have his show on CN and it's the exact same version of the show that we see in real life. He helps create the show along with Darwin and Ben Bocquelet. However, the cute, funny, and excitable 12 year old cat from the show is a teenager in reality, struggling with the insane amount of bullshit the world throws at him. There are a variety of different adult-oriented elements to the story, including cussing, smoking, drinking, drugs, fight scenes, death scenes, and even a sex scene or two. It's a big and complex story, but it's still a good one.
