Sally's blue optics remained transfixed on the swatbot beneath her boot heel. The battered,eviscerated machine continued to twitch and spasm as residual electric impulses flowed throughout it's body.
The bot's 'blood' flowed freely from it's neck stump, staining the ground with a dark purple hydraulic lubricant.
Sally's hands were dripping wet with the slick fluid. In her left, she held the dismembered head of her attacker. It's visor was a dull red devoid of any activity.
Had it been anything other then a Swatbot, the entire scene would have looked quite horrific to a passerby.
For Sally however her expression was not one of pride or satisfaction but rather the look of worry and apprehension.
"I've never felt so powerful before. The way I tore though this swatbot, it was almost effortless." She thought to herself as she glanced at the dismembered head in her hand.
Her frown only deepened as she let her grip loosen till the decapitated bot's head fell to the ground with soft thump on the blood stained ground.
"Then why do I feel so...afraid?" she whispered to herself as she gazed down at her 'blood' covered hands.
In the past, Sally had always been one to shun away from violence if possible. But now.. with the threat of Snively and his Combat robian army, things were only going to continue to escalate.
"escalation."
It was a word that the robian took to heart as she turned away from the mutilated swatbot's body. How long would it be till violence like this became second nature to her?
If her next opponent was a CR.. would her moral principals win out over the base instinct to survive?
For the moment....she didn't have an answer.
This piece is the first to incorporate photoshop and Sai and also was a great practice for several new brush techniques I've learned.
I really wanted to give the overall image a very dirty, busted down sort of feeling. from the scraps and dents on both sally and the swatbot to the filthy and worn down environment.
