Here, have a little doodle. It's rushed, so pardon the mistakes XD
Their beaks are kinda touching, so~ hooray for turtle nuzzles!
So yeah...I think Raph can be a complete sweetheart when he wants to be. He's an awesome brother, despite the fact he can be quite the bully. But we all know that underneath that hard exterior, there's a big, mushy, heart of gold that feels for his bros.
My biased RD-loving self finds it very cute if Raph was especially protective of Don when they were young. My headcanon is that Don was a tiny little fellow when he was a little tot (before he grew into a frickin' giant, of course), and Raph just had that naturally protective instinct of his to keep him safe and happy while still occasionally being a bully because hey, that's Raph for ya.
Also yes, I do imagine Don being a bit of a crybaby as a kid because d'AAAW.
AND THAT'S WHAT URGED ME TO DOODLE THIS. Yup.
