A friend of mine back in 2010 wanted me to draw some picture of her fursona (with no description, if memory serves me right), so I drew one down and it came out like total crap because I was still starting out fresh back then.

Two years later, she wants to get into drawing and wanted me to help her. I sketched down a quick reference of a fox, not consciously thinking about her fursona. In 10 minutes I managed to sketch down something that isn't no Rembrandt, but it's a fuck of a lot better than the fecal matter from two years ago.

This is a clear example of applied diligence. It took two years to make this kind of progress, proving the adage of practice makes perfect.
