Lance Wildfyre (Rabbit, Guard) glanced over at the locker next to his. It was usually empty. The Alphas hadn't had a full roster in the two years he'd been on the team, so many of the lockers remained empty throughout the season. Tonight, after some extra practice in Frump Colosseum (or Frump's Dump, as the fans usually called it) during the off-season, the curious rabbit was curious who his new lockermate would be.

"Number 35?" he asked to himself, seeing the number on the jersey. No name had been printed, since it was only a practice jersey, but as far as the rabbit knew, no one on the team had claimed that number yet.

The jersey was big, and even though the chubby rabbit had slimmed down considerably in the past year, even at his heaviest weight, he would have been swimming in the uniform that now hung next to his own.

His first fear was that Julio Onca (Black Panther, Forward/Center, Santa Ana) was coming back, but then he remembered the large cat's number was 71, not 35. "I wonder who it could be...?" he thought to himself, as he left the arena. No use in worrying over it too much, there were other things on his mind, and the rabbit knew he'd find out soon enough...
