Character Description
Arinia lives in a mansion with her two guard-cats, Roy and Nemesis. She is pinned to keep the entire mansion clean and tidy for the yearly inspection by some rather "important people"! If she fails inspection, she will be put in an adoption center and Roy and Nemesis will be put down!
It's a tough duty with Roy and Nemesis around, doing their usual shenanigans, but a master has got to do what a master has got to do!
Personality
Arinia is perky, cheery and upbeat. She doesn't understand a lot of things and doesn't ask a lot of questions, strangely enough. Although she does have a very curious look to her face when it comes to..well, everything!
She can be harsh when need be but never tends to be too rough at all for the other to get her point across.
When it comes to meeting new people, Arinia is very eager and will welcome pretty much anyone with open arms! All she needs help with now is talking with boys she might have an interest in~
Likes/Dislikes
Arinia loves to cook and clean. Especially when she sees there's not much to do around the mansion. It means she's done a good enough job--but can do an even more impressive job. Knowing the consequences of what'll happen if she fails inspection just fuels her anticipation on fulfilling this seemingly tedious task.
Arinia has a great, GREAT dislike..for--you guessed it, uncleanliness. Especially when it comes to the outside world. Any sort of litter she sees, she will pick up. Her neighborhood is pretty spotless because of this--meaning she's the one cleaning the path she takes whenever she leaves the house. The people acknowledge this and help her out with wares and food for her pets such as Cat Food of sorts and groceries for her own well being.
Background/History
Arinia grew up with loving parents. She was an only child and received much love from both of them.
Upon the age of 14, her parents told her that "they'll be gone for a long time and will send words to her through the mail. Arinia had many questions and was terribly sad to see them go..but she loves them and knows better than to question her own parents. She waves to them "goodbye" as they drove off in that limousine.
Now Arinia lives alone with her two guard cats named Roy and Nem who protect her with their lives.
A year later, Arinia is now very mature and has a vague understanding of the world around her. She'd naturally keep the place clean all by herself and would head out for groceries when food supply went low. How she got the money to continuously keep up for food is beyond her, but money comes in monthly.
Halfway through winter, she received a message through the mail. It was from her parents! No doubt she was happy to hear from them again! Quickly opening the note and expecting a happy little Holiday Note..was something less recognizable.
The sheet was thicker and folded neatly and had an old picture of her parents attached to it by a paperclip. She wondered why they'd send a pic of the two of a past experience and not from what they were doing far away and now.
Upon reading the unfamiliar sheet, she found some daunting, familiar words she had thought she'd never have to cross.
"Last will and testament". In utter shock, she was hesitant to read on! But she did..and she didn't like it.
It implied that her parents had passed. It gave no incident on how, but it gave the will and testament, of course. Which went in simpler terms. Probably just so she could understand.
"Some important people will be watching over you--they've always been watching us. Even before our departure. Please take care of the mansion but ultimately, take care of yourself for you are the most important thing that we have had to care for. We're sorry again for having to miss your 15th birthday, Arinia. You are a growing girl and will learn that the world is full of scary things. Learn to overcome them and move forward. We've got you a gift. Sorry if it's out of shape. We had to hold onto it for you before we could send it off.
Happy Birthday, Arinia. May you grow strong with each passing moment."
Inside the bulk of the envelope was a locket. It was true, it was pretty dented and "out of shape". She couldn't even get it to open because of its condition. That didn't make her feel any better.
"Keep Roy and Nemesis healthy and strong for they will care for you as us, your parents have.
It is fatally important to keep the house clean and tidy for as long as you decide. That's right. The entire mansion is now yours to do with as you please. Remember the "Important people" we mentioned earlier? They will visit the house each year you are in possession of it. They will inspect the house very carefully and grade you on its tidiness. Arinia. If you get a failing grade, they will take away Roy and Nemesis for a very long time--"
"A very long time"? Just like her parents. She wouldn't have that! She's already in an astounding amount of stress! To have what now represents Mom and Dad taken away from her!? She'd be alone!
She read on--
"As for you, Arinia. They wont only take away Roy and Nem. they'll put you in an adoption center."
Arinia knew nothing about adoption. It might as well have been the first time she heard of it. a bit confused now, she continues--
"Don't worry. If things go this sour, just remember to dress as a midle-class person. Those in the adoption center are not too kind to those that are upper class. Don't be afraid to break a few of the rules we have given you."

Relatives/Family
Paugh Piles and Sarah Piles are Arinia's parents who mysteriously vanished when Arinia turned just 14! A year later, she gets a letter from these two.
A will, actually, telling her to live happy! But to keep herself safe overall.
Now that the mansion is hers, she can do whatever she wants! As long as the two "important people" will give her a passing grade.
World/Setting
Arinia, Roy and Nemesis lives in a Mansion at the end of a winding road that ends at the top of a very large hill. Not many know of it, but those that pass the road leading to it wonder what's at the end..probably frightened.
Aside that, the neighborhood is all pretty much high-class peoples. Although, most of them have nasty habits that take its toll upon the world itself such as littering and smoking..and of course, vehicular exhaust. GAG!
Body
Arinia appears to around 4'3 with white hair and dark skin. Her cheeks are usually rosy and it gives her overall appearance a bright outlook on those around her.
If seeing her doesn't make you smile, your soul ir probably evil and must be purged by the power of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ. ouo
Clothing
Arinia wears unusually standard clothes. ALmost never wearing anything but skirts. Only on inspection days does she wear her frills and wide hoop skirt of black and white.
Accessories
Arinia's hair is adorned with two hair stretchers that are most of the time red, black or white. They are used to split her hair from the back.
