But I honestly have no idea who originally drew the line art used to make the original box image (which originated from 4Chan /v/). Considering that the original artist (supposedly) commented positively upon its use for the B&W box image and encouraged the ensuing meme, I'm getting the impression that the creator doesn't mind its usage and distribution.
Eh, the way I see it that puts it on the opposite side of "human with superficial animal features"... But I don't know if that puts it readily within the scope of the site, or clearly out...
I mean, I haven't browsed around the site much yet, but 'feral' art is apparently considered appropriate content, although I don't know if 'ordinary animal' art is. If 'feral' art is allowed as the characters are still mentally anthropomorphic, well... That's not exactly going to be something shown in every picture, which makes it a sort of context-qualifier...

The thing is, then it comes down to determining which human features are usable without making something 'not furry' and which aren't, which is kind of inconvenient... Because I've never actually seen any furry art site give a set of detailed guidelines for that.
As far as I've seen, I suppose you'd be right in that the head is basically the only 'not furry' human part, but even that is kind of iffy if it still has fur on it, which wouldn't make any sense given the 'superficial animal characteristics' thing. *Shrug*
