This is my Harpian char, Marin.
She's one of the two main antagonists in my original story Legend of Dersinger: Dragon Knights of Light. Her main role is that of a Sorceress that has high magical abilities along with a natural ability to charm and control anything or anyone that has Dragonic blood inside of them, unless the target has too high of a resistance to her. Right now she's posing on top of one of the four castle towers of Yrstevn with the northern landscape behind her, showing a part of the Megordia Forest that surrounds the castle.
She was born in one of the Harpie colonies near the western monster-infected lands of Raveris on Vensilder in the world of Grelaris. When her wings began to grow in at the age of five, her only parent, a female Harpy named Galicor, noticed her wings were not that of their breathern which are dark brown starting out, but a dark grey like those of the sky-bound Angels. Fearing retribution of the other Harpies for breeding outside their 'world' Galicor was forced to banish her own daughter from their colony and did so by leaving her near Lake Hydion where a random creature would seal the fate of her misformed daughter.
Before the twisted mother could get to the lake however she was ambushed by a traveling knight and slain on the spot. He noticed the child and as it was his nature to protect children, decided to take her in despite her.... differences. There was also something else about her that drew him to her but couldn't place it just yet.
I'll leave her history as this for now as it's still being discovered over time.
Marin's also made an appearance in my Lost Digidestined story, Snake Curse, as the Digidestined of Illusion, acting as both Digidestined Digimon in addition to Digidestined because of her magical abilities.
I know the wings could use some work among other things but at the time of drawing her I didn't know how to draw wings too well. ^^' This may be redrawn another time once I get time to do so.
