The soft, powered snow draped its self on the sturdy half-elf's shoulders, becoming a blanket of cold.
The ranger didnt mind the cold as it reminded of her home in Blood Stone along the great glaciers that lay there and home was exactly where she was returning to.
She had been away on business, hunting for her master and returning with powerful trinkets he could implement into his magical arts.

The ranger pulled her furs around her tighter as she crossed 'BloodStone Pass' out of Damara and into her home of Vaasa, the chill wind a welcome sign of home approaching. As she passed through the veil of snow she saw a faint siloute at the edge of the bridge holding a wooden box that seemed to be moving. The ranger watched in horror as the silouet lifted the box up over the stone railings. Knowing and most of all, fearing what will happen the girl ran towards the figure and shoulder barging him in the gut, catching the box as it fell. She moved the ragged fabric witch was draped upon it to see a litter of tiny shivering kittens.

The Half-elf sighed "There are some things in this world that make me really angry..." she lamented. She held the box close to her and carried on her way home to her master, leaving the man nursing his winded stomach in the falling snow.

My entry to #Neverwinter-tales contest "Something New". My Entry is a new lease on life. With Christmas just passed us a certain thought sticks in my head about abandoned animals. " A pets for life, not just for Christmas!"

I hope there are less abandoned animals this year.

And this girl here is my rugged Half-Elf ranger, Avon Garentt! I got a little board of seeing 'perfect warrior' girls all the time so I decide to make a really scared up grump who sacrificed her femminity to be a bad ass fighter. Not to say pretty a sultry girls are bad! I love them!( my baby Orta! ) I just wanted to make something else for a change~
(ps, she is kinda a crazy cat lady )
